HamiltonLimo.net runs limo service from Toronto for trips heading west and south: Toronto to Hamilton airport (YHM) is a planning $295–365 for a business sedan, about 80 km and 60–85 minutes; downtown Hamilton $270–330; Niagara Falls $415–500. All fares are fixed and all-in, plus HST. For a Niagara or Hamilton day, keep an hourly chauffeur from $120–145 an hour.
Limo service from Toronto, run by a Hamilton dispatch desk
We are a Hamilton company, and we say so up front. Toronto has hundreds of cars for a ten-minute hop from Yorkville to the Financial District; that is not what Toronto clients call us for. They call because their day is going somewhere we know better than anyone downtown: a flight from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, a Tiger-Cats game, a convocation at McMaster, a wedding at an Ancaster estate, a wine tour on the Beamsville Bench or a weekend at a Fallsview hotel. One dispatch desk plans the whole trip, the chauffeur knows the far end of the drive, and the price is fixed before anyone gets in.
You choose the pickup and destination on the HamiltonLimo.net reservation engine, pick a vehicle, and the engine shows a fixed all-in fare: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 tolls if used, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately. No meter, no surge, no app and no aggregator commission.
Toronto pickups we handle most
- Condos and houses across the old city, Etobicoke, North York and the waterfront: the classic early run to Hamilton airport.
- Downtown hotels: guests heading to a Hamilton meeting, a Niagara weekend or a wine country day.
- Union Station: travellers stepping off VIA Rail or the UP Express who are going on to Hamilton, Burlington or Niagara, with train tracking on every pickup.
- Offices on Bay Street and King West: executives with a site visit in Hamilton's bayfront, a meeting at McMaster Innovation Park or a day of plant tours.
- Event venues: a Toronto concert-goer staying in Burlington, or a wedding party staying in Toronto and marrying in the Hamilton area.
If your trip starts and ends inside Toronto, a local operator will usually be the better fit; if it touches Hamilton, Halton or Niagara, we are.
Fares from Toronto: planning ranges
These are one-way planning figures from downtown Toronto (the core between Spadina, Jarvis, the lake and Bloor) for a business sedan, all-in plus HST. Pickups in Etobicoke and Mississauga-adjacent neighbourhoods are shorter and quote lower; pickups in Scarborough or north of the 401 quote higher. The reservation engine prices your exact address, date and vehicle.
| Downtown Toronto to | Distance | Typical drive | Sedan, all-in + HST |
|---|---|---|---|
| Burlington / Aldershot GO | about 55 km | 40–60 min | $205–255 |
| Downtown Hamilton | about 68 km | 50–75 min | $270–330 |
| Ancaster / Dundas | about 75 km | 55–80 min | $280–345 |
| Hamilton airport (YHM) | about 80 km | 60–85 min | $295–365 |
| Grimsby / Beamsville | about 95 km | 65–90 min | $340–415 |
| St. Catharines | about 110 km | 75–100 min | $375–455 |
| Niagara Falls / Niagara-on-the-Lake | about 130 km | 85–115 min | $415–500 |
| Buffalo airport (BUF) | about 160 km | 105–140 min | $525–650 |
A first-class sedan runs about 2.5 times the business-sedan figure, an executive SUV about 65 per cent more, a luxury van about 50 per cent more, and a Sprinter about 2.75 times. The Hamilton limo prices guide explains how the bands are built, and the fare calculator gives a quick estimate.
Toronto to Hamilton airport (YHM)
Hamilton airport is the reason many Toronto households have our number. Some routes and fares out of YHM suit a Toronto traveller better than Pearson, and the terminal is small enough that security and bag drop tend to move quickly. The catch is the drive: about 80 km from downtown Toronto, down the Gardiner and QEW, across Highway 403 and up the escarpment on the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway to Mount Hope. Airlines and destinations at YHM change from season to season, so check flyhamilton.ca for current routes before you compare.
Our chauffeurs drive that approach every day. For a 7 a.m. departure, dispatch typically plans a 4:15 to 4:30 a.m. pickup from downtown Toronto; the highways are clear at that hour, and the plan still leaves room for a slow lane closure. Our Hamilton airport YHM page covers the terminal curb and what to expect inside.
YHM to Toronto: arrivals and red-eyes
Coming home is the harder half. Late arrivals into Hamilton leave travellers well away from the subway and the UP Express, and a rideshare to Toronto at midnight can be a long wait. We track the flight and the chauffeur is at the commercial pickup curb when you land. Included waiting is 30 minutes for Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes for other international arrivals, counted from actual landing. Meet and greet inside arrivals with a name board is an optional add-on, planning $25–35.

A Hamilton day for Toronto clients: the hourly chauffeur
Our lead product is the hourly private chauffeur: one car and one chauffeur for three hours minimum or a whole day. For a Toronto client, it turns a complicated day in the Hamilton area into one booking. Planning rates, all-in plus HST: business sedan $120–145 an hour, first-class sedan $285–350, executive SUV $190–235, Sprinter $330–385, each with a three-hour minimum and extra time in 30-minute blocks.
Typical Toronto hourly days we run:
- A plant tour in Stoney Creek, lunch on Locke Street and a meeting at the Hamilton Convention Centre, back on the Gardiner by 6 p.m.
- A university visit at McMaster in Westdale with a stop at Mohawk College on the Mountain for a second campus tour.
- A family visit to a parent at Hamilton General, a pharmacy run and dinner in Dundas.
Because the Toronto leg of the drive is part of the booked time, the hourly day suits itineraries with several stops at the far end. The hourly chauffeur service in Hamilton page explains how the clock runs, and the hourly vs point-to-point guide helps you choose.
Niagara from Toronto: wine, the Falls and the Shaw Festival
The single most common Toronto booking we take is a Niagara day. A 9 a.m. pickup at a Toronto hotel, the QEW along the lake, tastings on the Beamsville Bench, lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Falls at dusk and back to Toronto by 9 p.m. is about a 12-hour day. In a business sedan that is roughly $1,440–1,740 all-in plus HST for up to three people; in an executive SUV for six, $2,280–2,820, which works out to a sensible figure per head. Shorter versions work too: a five-hour booking covers two wineries in Lincoln and the drive both ways.
For theatre, the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake runs from spring into the autumn. A matinee and dinner fits a seven- to eight-hour hourly booking. For route ideas, see the Niagara wine tours page and the Niagara-on-the-Lake limo page.
Hamilton events for Toronto fans
- Tiger-Cats games at Hamilton Stadium (the former Tim Hortons Field) on Melrose Avenue North: streets close around the stadium, so a chauffeur who knows the drop zones matters. See the Tiger-Cats game day limo.
- TD Coliseum on York Boulevard, the downtown arena that reopened after renovation; check tdcoliseum.ca for concerts.
- Supercrawl on James Street North in September and the city's waterfront festivals in summer.
For all three, an hourly booking is the sensible choice from Toronto, because the car waits nearby and brings you home. Two one-way fares with an exact return time rarely survive an overtime game or an encore.
Weddings in the Hamilton area with a Toronto wedding party
Plenty of couples live in Toronto and marry at estates, golf clubs and barns in Ancaster, Flamborough and Lincoln, or at venues on James Street North and Pier 8. The usual plan is a Sprinter for the wedding party from a Toronto hotel, a first-class sedan or SUV for the couple, and a late return to Toronto after the reception. Stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce models and party buses come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and a coordinator prices those in writing. The wedding limo page covers timelines.
Union Station connections
Travellers arriving at Toronto's Union Station by VIA Rail from Montréal or Ottawa, or by the UP Express from Pearson, often have a final leg to Hamilton or Niagara. We track the train and the chauffeur waits at the street pickup outside. Included waiting on a station pickup is 15 minutes after arrival, then 15-minute blocks. The Union Station pickup page shows where cars can stop around Front Street.

Pearson or Hamilton for Toronto flyers?
For most Toronto residents Pearson is closer: from downtown it is roughly 25 km. Hamilton makes sense when the route or fare you want only operates there, or when you are combining the flight with a Hamilton or Niagara stay. We are straightforward about this: if your flight leaves Pearson and you are going from Toronto to Pearson and nowhere else, a Toronto-based service will usually be the better value. If you are flying into Pearson and heading to Hamilton or Niagara, our Hamilton to Pearson limo covers that run in both directions, and the Toronto Pearson airport page explains terminal pickups.
The drive west: Gardiner, QEW, 403 and the 407
From the core, chauffeurs normally take the Gardiner Expressway to the QEW, then Highway 403 at the Oakville–Burlington junction for Hamilton, or stay on the QEW over the Burlington Bay James N. Allan Skyway for Stoney Creek and Niagara. In the weekday afternoon peak, the tolled Highway 407 ETR can be quicker for Hamilton's Mountain and the airport; if we use it, the toll is already inside the fixed fare. Closures on the Gardiner are posted by the City of Toronto, and provincial highway conditions on Ontario 511.
Timing from Toronto by time of day
- Before 6 a.m.: 55–65 minutes to Hamilton airport; the easiest drive of the day.
- Weekday 7–9:30 a.m.: westbound is lighter than eastbound, 60–80 minutes to downtown Hamilton.
- Weekday 3:30–7 p.m.: the slowest window; 75–95 minutes to YHM, sometimes more on a Friday.
- Summer Fridays heading to Niagara: allow up to two hours from the core.
- Sunday evenings back into Toronto from Niagara: the eastbound QEW at the Skyway and in Oakville can crawl.
Which vehicle for a Toronto trip
- Business sedan (3 passengers, 3 bags): airport runs and business days. See the sedan.
- Business SUV (5 passengers, 5 bags): a black Tahoe or Yukon at close to sedan money, with winter traction; Union Station to downtown Hamilton $350–430 or $145–175 an hour.
- First-class sedan (3/3): executives and anniversary evenings.
- Executive SUV (6/6): families flying out of YHM with ski bags or strollers.
- Luxury van (6/6): the easiest step-in for grandparents, space for child seats.
- Sprinter (14/14): wedding parties, corporate groups and wine days. See the Sprinter.
- Jet Sprinter (7/5): a VIP lounge Sprinter with captain's chairs and work tables, for an executive team travelling from Toronto together; $650–750 an hour. See the Jet Sprinter.
Child seats (infant, convertible, booster) can be added at booking for a planning $10–15 each.
Corporate accounts for Toronto firms
Toronto companies with plants, clients or construction projects in Hamilton and Niagara use us for recurring site visits and for moving visiting teams from Pearson or Union Station to the region. A corporate car service account gives one dispatch contact, consolidated invoices and chauffeurs who know the industrial parks, the port lands on Hamilton Harbour and the plants along the QEW corridor.
Winter on the lakeshore
Lake-effect squalls hit the QEW through Oakville and Burlington, and freezing rain can make the escarpment climb to the airport slow. When Environment Canada posts a warning for your travel day, dispatch messages you with an earlier pickup suggestion. Every fleet vehicle runs winter tires in season, and if a closure forces a longer route, the fixed fare you confirmed stays the same.
Booking direct and cancellation
Book directly on HamiltonLimo.net rather than through an app or marketplace: one desk, a fixed fare, no commission in the middle. You receive a confirmation right away and the chauffeur's name and vehicle details before pickup. Cancellation is measured from scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours before, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10 per cent; 48 hours or less, 50 per cent; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100 per cent.
