A London airport limo from HamiltonLimo.net is a pre-booked black car between Hamilton and London International Airport (YXU) in London, Ontario. The drive is about 130 km and 85–105 minutes via Highway 403 and the 401; a business sedan is $415–500 one way, all-in plus HST, as a planning range. Flights are tracked, pickup is curbside and the fare is fixed before you confirm.
London airport limo from Hamilton: when it makes sense
London International is not the obvious airport for Hamilton, and most of our YXU trips have a specific reason behind them. A family books a sun package that happens to fly from London. A business traveller has meetings at Western University or in the city's manufacturing parks and is flying out the same evening. A visitor lands at YXU to see relatives in Brantford, Woodstock or Hamilton. A traveller finds a Porter or WestJet fare that beats the Toronto options for their dates. In every case the ground leg is long enough that a fixed fare, a chauffeur you have not met at 5 a.m. but who arrives when promised, and a car big enough for the luggage matter more than they would on a 15-minute run.
Airlines at YXU: what the airport lists
When we checked the airport's own website on 30 September 2026, it listed Porter Airlines, Air Canada, WestJet, Sunwing and Air Transat, with destinations that included Toronto, Calgary and Winnipeg alongside seasonal sun and Florida routes such as Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Cancún, Montego Bay and Punta Cana. Seasonal schedules come and go, so confirm your route with the airline or on the YXU site. Give us your flight number at booking and the dispatcher handles the rest.

| From / to YXU | Distance | Drive time | Business sedan | Executive SUV / luxury van | First-class sedan | Sprinter |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Downtown Hamilton | 130 km | 85–105 min | $415–500 | $685–825 | $1,040–1,250 | $1,140–1,375 |
| Ancaster | 120 km | 75–95 min | $380–470 | $630–775 | $950–1,175 | $1,045–1,290 |
| Brantford | 95 km | 60–80 min | $315–380 | $520–630 | $785–950 | $865–1,045 |
| Burlington | 145 km | 95–115 min | $455–550 | $755–910 | $1,135–1,375 | $1,250–1,515 |
The downtown row is our published rate-card range; the others are planning figures on the same basis. For a trip this long, the fixed fare matters: a meter running through a 401 slowdown near Woodstock is exactly what you are paying to avoid.
The drive: 403 west, then the 401
From downtown Hamilton the chauffeur takes the 403 west past Ancaster and through Brantford, joining the 401 near Woodstock, then west to London's east side and north to the airport in the city's northeast corner. It is simple, four-lane highway driving almost all the way, which is why the time range is fairly tight for a 130 km trip. The variables are the 401 near Woodstock and Ingersoll, where heavy truck traffic and collisions can close lanes, and winter squalls off Lake Huron that can turn the London end white while Hamilton is dry. The chauffeur checks Ontario 511 before leaving and on the way.

Departures to YXU: setting the pickup time
The dispatcher works backward from your airline's recommended arrival time. From downtown Hamilton that means leaving about two and a half hours before a domestic departure and three hours or more before an international or sun flight, with an extra 20–30 minutes from December to March. The chauffeur drops you at the departures curb and unloads the bags; the car does not park. For very early flights some travellers prefer to leave the night before and stay near the airport; our travel desk can add a hotel and we collect you from it.
Arrivals at YXU: curbside pickup and waiting
Your fare includes curbside pickup in the terminal's commercial pickup area. The chauffeur will be in London before you land, messages you the car, plate and exact spot, and waits by the vehicle. Add meet & greet at booking if you want the chauffeur inside arrivals with a name board; the planning figure is $25–35. Waiting starts from actual landing:
- 30 minutes on Canadian domestic and US flights
- 60 minutes on other international arrivals, including sun flights that clear customs at YXU
- then 15-minute blocks, shown on your receipt
Flights are tracked from departure, so a delay in Calgary or Cancún costs you nothing.
Vehicle choice for a longer airport run
On a 90-minute drive, comfort is worth more than on a short hop.
- Business sedan: up to 3 passengers and 3 bags.
- Business SUV: up to 5 passengers and 5 bags in a black Tahoe or Yukon — close to sedan money, with winter traction; about $540–650 one way from downtown Hamilton.
- First-class sedan: more legroom and a quieter cabin for executives who plan to work on the way.
- Executive SUV: up to 6 and 6, the family choice for sun-holiday luggage.
- Sprinter: up to 14 and 14, for teams and groups, which often costs less per head than separate cars.
- Jet Sprinter: a VIP lounge Sprinter for up to 7 and 5 bags; captain's chairs and work tables make the 130 km run to London a working meeting; $650–750 an hour.
Child seats at $10–15 each are added at booking. For passengers who can transfer to a seat, we fold and stow wheelchairs and walkers; ramp-vehicle trips go to a specialist accessible provider.

Business in London: hourly beats one-way
London is a long way to go for one meeting, so business visitors usually pack the day: a hospital or university visit, a plant tour in the industrial parks near the 401, lunch downtown. An hourly chauffeur keeps the same car and chauffeur with you all day, waiting outside each stop. A business sedan is $120–145 per hour and a first-class sedan $285–350 per hour, 3-hour minimum, all-in plus HST. A traveller flying into YXU for a day of meetings and then being driven home to Hamilton can book it as one hourly job; the dispatcher will compare that with separate transfers and tell you which costs less. For companies moving staff regularly, our corporate car service sets up monthly billing.
London, Pearson or Hamilton?
For most Hamilton trips, Hamilton airport or Toronto Pearson will be shorter drives. YXU earns its place when the fare difference, the schedule or the destination favours it, and when your trip has a London-area reason. Because YXU is roughly twice as far as Pearson, the ground cost is higher; compare the whole trip, air plus car, before choosing. The dispatcher is happy to price both options for the same date so you can see the difference in writing. The drive itself is covered on our Hamilton to London route page.
Students and visitors to Western and Fanshawe
September move-in and spring convocation bring families through YXU for Western University and Fanshawe College. Parents flying in from the West often land in London, settle a student into residence and then drive to Hamilton or Niagara to see the rest of the family. An SUV or Sprinter on an hourly booking handles the boxes, the stop at a store for bedding and the drive east in one job, and the chauffeur waits while the room is sorted.
Stopping in Brantford on the way
Brantford sits on the 403 about halfway to London, and many YXU passengers have family there. A stop to drop someone off or pick up a relative is easy to add when you book; tell the dispatcher and the fare is adjusted before you confirm. For a longer visit, an hourly booking is usually the better value. See the Brantford page for rides that start or end there.
Winter on the 401 west
Southwestern Ontario gets lake-effect snow off Lake Huron, and London sits on its edge. The worst stretches for our chauffeurs are usually the 401 between Woodstock and London in a squall and the approach to the airport's side roads after a heavy fall. From December to March we add time to every YXU departure and chauffeurs carry winter kits. If the Ministry closes a stretch of the 401, the dispatcher reroutes on the old Highway 2 corridor and keeps you informed by message.
Train, bus or private car to YXU
There are public options between Hamilton and London. VIA Rail runs trains to London's downtown station from Aldershot in Burlington, and intercity coaches run on the 401 corridor. Neither goes to the airport itself, so you would still need a taxi from downtown London to YXU in the city's northeast, with your luggage, at an hour that suits the train rather than your flight. For a solo traveller with a carry-on and time to spare, that can work. For a family with sun-holiday bags, a very early departure or anyone arriving late at night, the private car is simpler: one pickup at your door, one drop-off at the terminal, and a price you know in advance.
What the chauffeur does on a long airport run
On a 130 km trip the details add up. The chauffeur checks the flight and the 401 conditions before leaving Hamilton, fuels the car the evening before an early departure, and carries water, phone chargers and a blanket in winter. On the way to YXU there is normally no stop unless you ask for one; if you need a washroom or a coffee, say so and the chauffeur picks a service centre on the 401 near Woodstock. On arrivals, the car is in the commercial pickup area before you land and the trunk is empty and ready for your bags. The chauffeur keeps the dispatch desk updated, so if you message the office rather than the car, the answer is the same.
Groups and family reunions through London
Family reunions and weddings in the London area often fly guests into YXU from Western Canada. A Sprinter for 14 collects everyone together and can bring them to Hamilton, Brantford or a venue in between. For bigger groups, a coach from a vetted partner operator in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network is priced in writing by a coordinator. If guests land on different flights, the dispatcher can schedule separate sedans for each arrival or hold one larger vehicle for a combined pickup; the included waiting rules apply to each flight. Customs rules for guests from outside Canada are on the CBSA site.
