HamiltonLimo.net is a black car and limousine service based in Hamilton, Ontario, with its own dispatch desk, chauffeurs and fleet of sedans, SUVs, vans and Sprinters. Our lead product is the hourly private chauffeur: one car and one chauffeur for three hours or a whole day. We also run airport, station, city-to-city and cross-border trips, all at fixed fares booked direct.
What HamiltonLimo.net does
We move people around Hamilton and between Hamilton and everywhere it connects to: Hamilton airport in Mount Hope, Toronto Pearson, Billy Bishop, Union Station, Buffalo, Niagara, Kitchener-Waterloo, London and over the border. We do it in black cars driven by professional chauffeurs, dispatched from Hamilton, at a fixed price agreed before the trip.
The work falls into a handful of kinds. The largest is the hourly chauffeur in Hamilton: a car and chauffeur kept for a morning of meetings, a day of site visits, a string of medical appointments, an afternoon in wine country or a night out. Then airport runs, with flight tracking and a chauffeur timed to the actual landing; train connections at Hamilton GO Centre, West Harbour, Aldershot and Union Station; private aviation meets at the business aviation terminals; point-to-point and city-to-city trips; and occasions such as weddings, proms and anniversaries, where partner stretch limousines and Rolls-Royces join our own cars.
Why we lead with the hourly chauffeur
Most ground transportation is sold one ride at a time. That works for a single airport run, but it breaks down the moment a day has more than one stop. You call a car, it leaves, you call another, you wait outside a clinic or an office in February for a car that is ten minutes away, and you pay for every leg.
An hourly chauffeur turns that around. The car and the chauffeur are yours for the booking. The chauffeur waits outside, knows the next address, keeps your coat and papers in the car and adjusts when the meeting runs long. For clients with several stops, it is usually cheaper than stacked one-way fares, and it is always calmer. A four-hour sedan booking is a planning range of $480–580 all-in plus HST; the hourly vs point-to-point guide shows when each makes sense. We will still tell you honestly when a one-way trip is the better buy.
How dispatch works
Every booking lands on one dispatch desk. When you book on the reservation engine, the fare is fixed at that moment. Dispatch then assigns a chauffeur and a vehicle, checks the route and the timing, and, for airport and station pickups, starts tracking the flight or train. The day before, the booking is checked again against weather and road work on Ontario 511. Before pickup you receive the chauffeur's name, mobile number, vehicle and plate by text.
During the trip dispatch keeps watching. If a flight is diverted, a train is held at Aldershot, or the Skyway is closed by wind, the desk re-times the car and tells the chauffeur. If a chauffeur is delayed, the desk tells you before you notice. After the trip, the receipt with the HST line arrives by email.

Fixed fares and booking direct
We publish planning ranges, with distance and drive time, for every common trip on the Hamilton limo rates page, and the reservation engine turns them into a fixed, all-in fare for your address, date and vehicle before you confirm. The fare includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, 407 tolls if used, airport fees and gratuity; HST is shown separately. There is no meter and no surge.
We ask clients to book with us directly, on the engine on every page, the floating Book now button or the booking page. There is no app to download and no marketplace in the middle taking a cut, and the desk that takes your booking is the desk that sends the car. Weddings, party buses, coaches and multi-vehicle events are priced in writing by a coordinator.
The standards we work to
A black car service is mostly invisible when it goes well, so the standards have to be written down.
- Chauffeurs are licensed for carrying passengers for hire, screened before they drive for us, and trained to our written standard on punctuality, dress, conduct and discretion. The details are on our chauffeurs page.
- Vehicles, our own and every partner's, are four model years old or younger, with the single exception of Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley at up to seven. Winter tires go on in November.
- Punctuality: the chauffeur is on location before the pickup time, not at it.
- Honesty about partners: when a stretch limousine, Rolls-Royce, party bus or coach comes from a partner operator, the booking says so.
- Privacy: no signs, no logos, and no talk about who rode in the car.
Our fleet, in brief
Our own classes are the business sedan, the first-class sedan, the executive SUV, the luxury van, the 14-seat Sprinter and the seven-seat Jet Sprinter lounge. Partner classes are the stretch limousine, Rolls-Royce and Maybach, the party bus and the coach. Every class, with seats, bags and hourly ranges, is on the fleet page.
Where we operate
Our home is Hamilton, and we know it by neighbourhood: the lower city from Westdale to the east end, James Street North and Locke Street, the Mountain from Mohawk College out to Upper James and the airport, Ancaster, Dundas, Stoney Creek, Waterdown and Flamborough, Binbrook and Glanbrook. We run daily to Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Mississauga and Toronto; to Grimsby, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake; to Brantford, Caledonia, Cambridge, Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo; and further to London, Muskoka and across the border to Buffalo, Rochester, Detroit and beyond. Every destination we serve is on the cities page.
Knowing the roads, the Mountain and the seasons
Hamilton is a city of two levels. The Niagara Escarpment, the Mountain, splits the lower city from the upper city, and the accesses between them (the Claremont Access, the Jolley Cut, Sherman, Kenilworth and James Mountain Road) behave very differently in a January storm than in June. Our chauffeurs know which access to take from which neighbourhood, when the Linc and the Red Hill Valley Parkway beat Upper James, and how the QEW behaves at the Skyway when the wind picks up off the lake.
The seasons change the work, too. Spring brings graduation and prom season; summer is weddings and Niagara; late summer and autumn bring Tiger-Cats home games at Hamilton Stadium (the former Tim Hortons Field), Supercrawl on James Street North and the wine harvest; winter brings holiday parties and the early-morning sun-holiday runs to Pearson. We plan each season before it arrives.

Memberships and our network
HamiltonLimo.net is a member of LimousineWorldwide.Directory, a directory and network of limousine and chauffeured transportation operators, and of LimousineAssociation.International, whose membership commits us and our affiliates to written standards on licensing, commercial passenger insurance, vehicle age and inspection, and chauffeur screening. Through that network we source partner vehicles in Hamilton and can arrange a chauffeur for you in other cities. See our network and memberships.
The travel desk
Visitors to Hamilton, and Hamiltonians going away, can search flights, hotels, resorts, activities, packages and car rental with our travel desk partner, BookingWorldwide.net. The travel booking completes on BookingWorldwide.net; we provide the chauffeur for the same trip. See the travel desk.
Who books us
Executives and their assistants; companies with visitors arriving at YHM or Pearson; families collecting relatives from overseas; patients and their families going to Hamilton's hospitals; couples on their wedding day; students and parents at McMaster and Mohawk moving in or graduating; groups heading to Niagara wine country; and anyone who would rather not drive to Pearson at four in the morning. Companies that travel often use corporate accounts with invoicing and traveller profiles.
What we will not do
We will not quote a fare and add to it afterwards. We will not send a vehicle older than our standard, or pretend a partner car is our own. We will not put your name on a board in a public place unless you asked for meet and greet. And we will not send you to a third-party marketplace to book. If we cannot do a trip well, we will say so and suggest who can.
Talking to us
The quickest way to a fixed fare is the reservation engine. For anything unusual, a multi-vehicle event, a medical trip that needs special planning, a cross-border day or a question about the fleet, the contact details are at the top and bottom of every page, and the frequently asked questions answer the common ones. Official information about the city itself is on the City of Hamilton website.
A typical day on the dispatch desk
The first cars leave before five in the morning for Pearson departures, running the QEW and the 403 before the traffic builds; at the same time a sedan is heading up the Mountain for a first flight out of YHM. By eight, hourly bookings are starting: an executive collected in Ancaster for a day of meetings in Burlington and Toronto, a patient and a family member heading to the Juravinski for a morning of appointments. Mid-morning brings international arrivals at Pearson, each car timed to the tracked landing. Afternoons are site visits, station pickups at Aldershot and West Harbour, and a Sprinter taking a group to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Evenings are dinners on Locke Street, games at Hamilton Stadium (the former Tim Hortons Field), concerts downtown and late arrivals at the airport. The desk watches every one of them.
How we price, and why the ranges are honest
We publish ranges rather than single prices because a fixed fare depends on the exact address and time, and a single headline number would be either too low to be true or too high to be useful. Every range on the site shows the distance and the normal drive time, so you can see what you are paying for. The reservation engine then gives you one number, and that number does not move. If a trip is unusual, such as a multi-day roadshow, a wedding with three vehicles or a coach for a conference, a coordinator prices it in writing before you commit.
Safety first, in plain terms
Nothing on a schedule matters more than arriving safely. Chauffeurs drive to the conditions, not the clock; on a storm day we would rather tell you to leave thirty minutes earlier than ask a chauffeur to hurry on the Jolley Cut. Vehicles are inspected and maintained on schedule, and a car with a fault does not go out. Partner vehicles meet the same standard, or they are not used.
Booking for someone else
Many of our bookings are made by someone other than the passenger: an assistant booking an executive, an adult child booking a parent's hospital trips, a host booking a visiting speaker. Add the passenger's name and mobile in the booking, and the chauffeur's details go to them as well as to you. For older passengers we can call rather than text, and the chauffeur can wait at the door rather than in the car.
