A wedding limo in Hamilton is booked by the hour around your timeline, usually four to eight hours. Planning figures: a first-class sedan $285–350/h, a stretch limousine $350–450/h (4 h minimum), a Sprinter $330–385/h, and a Rolls-Royce from $675/h, all-in plus HST. HamiltonLimo.net's coordinator prices wedding plans in writing, and you book direct with one dispatch desk.
Wedding limo Hamilton: plan the day, then choose the cars
The best wedding limousine plans start with the timeline, not the vehicle. Before we talk about Rolls-Royces or stretch limousines, our coordinator wants to know where everyone is getting ready, when the ceremony starts, where the photographs happen, and when the reception doors open. Those four points decide how many hours you need, how many vehicles, and which ones.
HamiltonLimo.net runs its own sedans, SUVs, luxury vans and Sprinters. Rolls-Royce and similar prestige cars, stretch limousines and larger coaches come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network. Our coordinator books every vehicle, writes one itinerary, and dispatch runs the whole day as one job, so the couple deals with one contact rather than three companies.
Wedding packages by timeline
Packages are really blocks of hours. These are the common shapes we plan in Hamilton:
| Package | Typical hours | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Ceremony only | 3–4 h | Getting-ready location to ceremony, then couple to reception |
| Ceremony and photos | 5–6 h | Adds one or two photo locations between ceremony and reception |
| Full day | 7–9 h | Getting ready, ceremony, photos, reception arrival, late send-off |
| Send-off only | 3 h | Couple from reception to hotel or home at the end of the night |
Most Hamilton couples land in the five- to six-hour range. A send-off car booked separately, usually a first-class sedan, is often better value than keeping a stretch limousine waiting through dinner and speeches.
Planning prices for wedding cars
All figures are planning ranges including the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel and gratuity, with HST shown separately. A coordinator confirms the exact price in writing.
| Vehicle | Seats | Minimum | Planning range per hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| First-class sedan (S-Class/7 Series) | 3 | 3 h | $285–350 |
| Business SUV (Tahoe / Yukon type) | 5 | 3 h | $145–175 |
| Executive SUV | 6 | 3 h | $190–235 |
| Stretch limousine (partner) | 8–10 | 4 h | $350–450 |
| Sprinter | 14 | 3 h | $330–385 |
| Jet Sprinter (VIP lounge) | 7 | 3 h | $650–750 |
| Party bus (partner) | 16–36 | 4–5 h | $650–750 |
| Rolls-Royce / Maybach (partner) | 3–4 | 3 h | from $675 |
A common pairing, a Rolls-Royce for the couple for four hours and a Sprinter for the wedding party for five hours, starts from about $4,350–4,625 plus HST, before any guest shuttles.
Rolls-Royce, stretch or Sprinter: choosing for the wedding party
Each vehicle suits a different job:
- Rolls-Royce or Maybach for the couple: the car in the photographs, arriving at the ceremony and leaving as newlyweds. See Rolls-Royce chauffeur service.
- Stretch limousine for a wedding party of six to ten who want the classic look and time together between stops. See stretch limo Hamilton.
- Sprinter for larger wedding parties, or for parties with long dresses who prefer forward-facing seats and full headroom. See Sprinter group transportation.
- First-class sedan for parents, grandparents or the late-night send-off.
Mixing vehicles is normal: the couple in one prestige car, the wedding party behind in a Sprinter or stretch.

Wedding venues around Hamilton we drive to
We drive to venues across Hamilton, Burlington and Niagara; we are not affiliated with any of them. A few patterns from the dispatch desk:
- Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington hosts weddings in several garden and indoor spaces, and RBG gives wedding clients garden photography access tied to their booking. See our Royal Botanical Gardens transportation guide.
- Waterfront venues along Hamilton Harbour and Burlington's lakeshore are close to the QEW and the 403; allow extra time on summer Saturdays when the waterfront trail and parks are busy.
- Niagara wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake and the Twenty Valley host many weddings. Niagara-on-the-Lake is about 70 km and 50–60 minutes from downtown Hamilton; Wine Country Ontario lists member wineries.
- Banquet halls and churches across the Mountain, Stoney Creek and Ancaster, where the escarpment accesses shape the timing.
Share your venue at booking and the chauffeur scouts the loading area in advance.
Photo locations: Dundas Peak, Gage Park, waterfalls and permits
Hamilton has beautiful backdrops, but several of them now involve permits, and a limousine timeline has to respect those rules.
The Hamilton Conservation Authority requires advance photo permits for professional photography in its conservation areas, and currently states that it is not issuing photography permits in waterfall areas, including Webster's Falls, Tew's Falls and Devil's Punchbowl. Spencer Gorge, where Dundas Peak sits, has its own access arrangements, so confirm with the HCA before planning photographs there. See our Dundas Peak and Bruce Trail guide.
Gage Park in east Hamilton is a popular garden backdrop, and structured sessions or the greenhouse may need a City of Hamilton booking; check with the City of Hamilton. Your photographer should secure every permit; we build the drive and wait times around them.

A sample wedding day timeline
Here is a realistic six-hour plan for a June Saturday with a ceremony in Ancaster and a reception in Burlington:
- 1:00 p.m. Rolls-Royce collects the bride from her family home on the Mountain; the Sprinter collects the wedding party.
- 1:45 p.m. arrival at the church, with 15 minutes before the 2:00 p.m. ceremony.
- 3:00 p.m. couple and wedding party leave for photographs at Royal Botanical Gardens, about 25–30 minutes via the 403.
- 4:45 p.m. short drive to the reception venue.
- 5:15 p.m. grand entrance; the Rolls-Royce is released, the Sprinter returns later for the wedding party's late run home.
Build 10–15 minutes of cushion into every leg. Wedding days rarely run early.
Guest shuttles between ceremony, hotel and reception
Guest shuttles are often the most useful vehicles of the day. When the ceremony and reception are in different places, or out-of-town guests are staying at a hotel, a shuttle keeps everyone together and means no one drives after the toasts.
Our Sprinter group transportation seats up to 14 per trip; for larger guest lists, a partner party bus or coach runs loops between the hotel and venue. The usual pattern is two or three trips before the ceremony and two or three late-night returns to the hotel, with the shuttle released in between. The coordinator writes the loop times on the itinerary so guests know when to be at the door.
Booking lead times for wedding transportation
Wedding weekends from late May to early October are the busiest days in our calendar, and the same partner prestige cars and stretch limousines serve every wedding in the region. Our guidance:
- Nine to twelve months ahead for a Saturday in June, August or September if you want a specific Rolls-Royce or a large stretch.
- Four to six months ahead for Fridays, Sundays and shoulder-season Saturdays.
- Six to eight weeks ahead for sedans, SUVs and Sprinters from our own fleet, though earlier is safer.
Confirm the date early; details such as the exact photo stop can be finalised a month before. See how to book a wedding limo for a checklist.
How the wedding contract works
Wedding transportation is confirmed with a written agreement from our coordinator rather than an instant online booking. It sets out:
- Each vehicle, its class, colour where specified, and whether it is own-fleet or partner.
- The timeline, addresses and booked hours for each vehicle.
- The all-in price per vehicle and the total, with HST shown separately.
- What happens if the day runs long: extra time in 30-minute blocks.
- The cancellation schedule below, and the payment steps.
Read it carefully and flag anything that does not match your planner's timeline. Once signed, dispatch builds the day and sends chauffeur details in the final week. Begin the process at book your wedding limo.
Cancellation terms for weddings
Wedding bookings follow the same sitewide cancellation rule as every HamiltonLimo.net trip, measured from the scheduled first pickup of each vehicle:
| Notice before scheduled pickup | Charge |
|---|---|
| More than 72 hours | No charge |
| 72 hours or less | 10 % of that vehicle's fare |
| 48 hours or less | 50 % of that vehicle's fare |
| 24 hours or less, or no-show | 100 % of that vehicle's fare |
Because partner prestige cars and stretch limousines are scarce on wedding weekends, tell us about any change as soon as you know. Reducing hours or dropping a guest shuttle more than 72 hours out costs nothing.
Decorations, dress and the details
Chauffeurs wear dark suits and handle doors, dress trains and umbrellas. Ribbons on the front of the car are welcome if they are fabric and tied without tape or adhesives on the paintwork; we will fit the classic white ribbon on request. Flowers, confetti and rice stay outside the car.
Tell us about the bride's dress at booking: a full ball gown fits more easily in a Rolls-Royce or Sprinter than in the back of a sedan. Bottled water is in every vehicle. For children in the wedding party, child seats (infant, convertible, booster) can be added at booking, planning figure $10–15 each.
Weather, the escarpment and wedding timing
Summer weddings bring heat and thunderstorms; autumn brings early darkness for photographs; winter weddings bring snow on the Mountain. The chauffeur checks Ontario 511 on the morning of the wedding and plans the easiest route up or down the escarpment, typically the Claremont Access or the Linc rather than the steeper accesses in snow.
Keep a rain plan for outdoor photos: covered porches, church interiors or hotel lobbies work, and the chauffeur carries large umbrellas. Planning photographs in the hour before sunset gives the best light and fits naturally between ceremony and reception.
Accessibility for guests and family
Grandparents and guests with limited mobility often find a stretch limousine's low bench and long cabin hard to use. A luxury van or executive SUV with a higher seat, or a first-class sedan, is easier to step into, and the chauffeur can carry a folding wheelchair or walker in the cargo area. Tell the coordinator who needs extra help so the right car is at the right door.
