A limo in Hamilton costs $75–100 for a business-sedan ride within the city and $120–145 an hour for a sedan with chauffeur (3-hour minimum), all-in plus HST. A partner stretch limousine is $350–450 an hour with a 4-hour minimum, so a typical prom or wedding evening lands between $1,400 and $2,250. The biggest price drivers are vehicle class, hours and distance.
Limo service Hamilton cost: the short version
Limo service in Hamilton is priced three ways: a fixed one-way fare for a single journey, an hourly rate for a car that stays with you, and a written quote for multi-vehicle events. At HamiltonLimo.net all three are all-in. The chauffeur, fuel, 407 tolls when used, airport fees and the gratuity sit inside the number. HST is added on its own line.
Everything on this page is a planning range. The reservation engine quotes the exact address, date and vehicle and shows one fixed figure before you confirm. For the full rate card with every destination, see the Hamilton limo rates page. This guide answers a different question: what will my kind of trip cost, and how do I keep it sensible?
Price ranges by vehicle
The vehicle is the single biggest lever on price. These are hourly planning ranges, all-in plus HST.
| Vehicle | Seats | Hourly range | Minimum | Who supplies it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Business sedan | 3 | $120–145 | 3 h | Own fleet |
| Business SUV (Tahoe, Yukon) | 5 | $145–175 | 3 h | Own fleet |
| Executive SUV or luxury van | 6 | $190–235 | 3 h | Own fleet |
| First-class sedan | 3 | $285–350 | 3 h | Own fleet |
| Sprinter | 14 | $330–385 | 3 h | Own fleet |
| Jet Sprinter (VIP lounge) | 7 | $650–750 | 3 h | Own fleet |
| Stretch limousine | 8–10 | $350–450 | 4 h | Partner operator |
| Party bus | 16–36 | $650–750 | 4–5 h | Partner operator |
| Rolls-Royce or Maybach | 3 | from $675 | 3 h | Partner operator |
Stretch limousines, the Rolls-Royce and party buses come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network. We book them, we confirm the vehicle in writing, and we tell you plainly that the car is a partner's. Capacities and photos for each class are on the fleet page.
Price ranges by trip type
Most people do not think in vehicle classes. They think "prom", "airport" or "wine day". Here is what those trips usually cost from downtown Hamilton.
| Trip | Typical booking | Planning total (all-in + HST) | Distance / time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ride within Hamilton | Sedan, one way | $75–100 | up to 15 km, 10–25 min |
| Hamilton airport (YHM) drop | Sedan, one way | $90–115 | 15 km, 20–25 min |
| Toronto Pearson drop | Sedan, one way | $245–300 | about 70 km, 45–65 min |
| Pearson with family of five | Business SUV, one way | about $320–390 | about 70 km, 45–65 min |
| Night out in Hamilton | Sedan, 4 h | $480–580 | local |
| Prom evening | Stretch, 4–5 h | $1,400–2,250 | local |
| Wedding day, couple's car | First-class sedan, 5–6 h | $1,425–2,100 | local |
| Wedding party | Sprinter, 5–6 h | $1,650–2,310 | local |
| Niagara wine day | Executive SUV, 8 h | $1,520–1,880 | 35–70 km each way |
| Birthday party bus | Party bus, 5 h | $3,250–3,750 | local |
The hourly totals are simple multiplication: hours times the hourly range. A five-hour stretch booking is $1,750–2,250. A six-hour first-class sedan is $1,710–2,100. Multi-vehicle weddings, party buses and coaches are priced in writing by a coordinator, because the right combination depends on your guest list.
How much is a limo in Hamilton per person?
Split between passengers, a larger vehicle often costs less per head than a small one. That is the fact most "cheap limo" searches are really looking for.
- Sedan to Pearson, three people: $245–300 total, roughly $82–100 each.
- Executive SUV to Pearson, six people: about $405–495 total, roughly $68–83 each.
- Sprinter to Pearson, fourteen people: about $675–825 total, roughly $48–59 each.
- Stretch limousine, four hours, ten prom-goers: $1,400–1,800 total, roughly $140–180 each.
- Party bus, five hours, twenty-four guests: $3,250–3,750 total, roughly $135–156 each.
The per-person number only works when the seats are actually filled. Book the vehicle for the number of people who have confirmed, not the number who might come.

What drives the price of a Hamilton limo
Six things move the number. Knowing them tells you where the savings are.
- Vehicle class. A first-class sedan is about 2.5 times a business sedan. A business SUV is about 30 per cent more and an executive SUV about 65 per cent more. A Sprinter is about 2.75 times.
- Hours booked. Hourly bookings charge the minimum even if you finish early. Extra time is added in 30-minute blocks.
- Distance. One-way fares rise with kilometres. Grimsby costs more than Burlington because it is 35 km away, not 15.
- Partner vehicles. Stretch limousines and party buses carry longer minimums, 4 hours and 4–5 hours respectively.
- Waiting. One-way fares include 15 minutes of waiting on ordinary pickups. After that, 15-minute blocks apply.
- Add-ons. Meet and greet inside an airport arrivals hall is about $25–35. Child seats are about $10–15 each.
What does not move the number: the day of the week, rain, a Ticats game, New Year's Eve or graduation week. HamiltonLimo.net does not surge. The fare you confirm is the fare you pay.
Cheap limo service in Hamilton: honest ways to pay less
"Cheap" should mean paying for what you use, not a worse car or a hidden fee. These are the savings dispatch actually recommends.
- Right-size the vehicle. Three people and three bags fit a business sedan. Do not book an SUV for comfort you will not notice on a 20-minute ride.
- Fill the seats. Two couples sharing one SUV pay less each than two sedans.
- Choose hourly only when the car would wait. A single airport drop is cheaper one way. A day of stops is cheaper hourly. Our hourly vs point-to-point guide shows the break-even point.
- Skip add-ons you do not need. Curbside pickup is included. Meet and greet is worth it for an elderly parent or a first visit, not for a frequent flyer.
- Consider Hamilton airport. Flying from YHM instead of Pearson can turn a $245–300 ride into a $90–115 one. See the Hamilton airport YHM guide.
- Take transit when it genuinely suits you. A solo traveller with a carry-on may prefer the GO bus. We say so in the GO bus vs limo comparison.
- Cancel early if plans change. Cancelling more than 72 hours ahead costs nothing.
Why booking direct is the cheapest way to book
Booking marketplaces and ride apps sit between you and the car and take a commission. That commission is paid by someone, and it is usually you. When you book on HamiltonLimo.net's own reservation engine, the fixed fare goes to the company that owns the dispatch desk and sends the car.
Direct booking also removes a layer of messages. If your flight moves or your prom photos run long, you tell one dispatch desk, not an app support queue. Use the booking form on any page, the floating Book now button, or book your Hamilton limo online. The engine shows the fixed all-in fare, with HST on a separate line, before you confirm. There are no "Get a quote" forms to wait on for ordinary trips.
What is included in every fare
- A professional chauffeur, licensed and screened, in business dress.
- A late-model vehicle, cleaned before the trip.
- Fuel and Highway 407 ETR tolls when the chauffeur uses the 407.
- Airport commercial pickup fees.
- The chauffeur's gratuity.
- Flight tracking on airport pickups and train tracking on station pickups.
Not included: HST, meet and greet, child seats, waiting beyond the included time and extra stops on one-way trips. All of these show on the screen before you pay. Tolls on the 407 ETR are never billed afterwards.
Stretch limo prices in Hamilton
A stretch limousine is the classic "limo" people picture, and it is always an hourly booking. The planning range is $350–450 an hour with a 4-hour minimum, so the smallest booking is $1,400–1,800 all-in plus HST.
Stretch limousines seat eight to ten. They are supplied by partner operators and are in heavy demand from May to September. For proms and weddings, book as soon as the date is fixed. If your group is six or fewer and nobody minds a more modern look, an executive SUV does the same job for close to half the hourly rate. More detail is on the stretch limo Hamilton page.
Wedding limo prices in Hamilton
Wedding transport is priced by the hours the cars are needed, not by the kilometres driven. A typical Hamilton wedding day runs five to six hours: home to ceremony, photos at a location such as the Royal Botanical Gardens or Bayfront Park, then the reception.
- Couple's car, first-class sedan, 6 hours: $1,710–2,100.
- Bridal party, Sprinter, 5 hours: $1,650–1,925.
- Stretch limousine, 5 hours: $1,750–2,250.
- Rolls-Royce, 3 hours for ceremony and photos: from $2,025.
When several vehicles are involved, a coordinator prices the whole day in writing and sequences the pickups. Start with the wedding limo Hamilton page or the how to book a wedding limo guide.
Prom and graduation limo prices
Prom night in Hamilton is usually a four- to five-hour booking: group photos at a house, dinner, the venue, then a single drop-off point. Planning totals run $1,400–2,250 for a partner stretch and $760–1,175 for an executive SUV carrying six.
Parents usually ask three things. Is alcohol allowed? No; we do not serve or permit alcohol for minors. Can drop-off be at one address? Yes, and we recommend it. Is the price per student? No; the booking is per vehicle, split however the group chooses. The prom limo Hamilton page has the full checklist.
Airport transfer prices
Airport runs are the most predictable fares because the route is fixed.
| Airport | Sedan, one way | Distance | Drive time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hamilton (YHM) | $90–115 | 15 km | 20–25 min |
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | $245–300 | about 70 km | 45–65 min |
| Billy Bishop (YTZ) | $275–340 | 70 km | 55–80 min |
| Niagara Falls NY (IAG) | $325–400 | 80 km | 65–90 min |
| Buffalo (BUF) | $375–465 | 105 km | 80–110 min |
Included waiting after landing is 30 minutes for Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes for other international flights. Cross-border times exclude the bridge queue. Current waits are posted by the Peace Bridge authority. Full route details are on the Hamilton to Pearson limo page.
Hourly black car prices for errands and business
The hourly private chauffeur is the service Hamilton clients book most. One car and one chauffeur stay with you for three hours or a full day.
- Three-hour sedan minimum: $360–435.
- Four-hour sedan: $480–580.
- Eight-hour sedan day: $960–1,160.
- Eight-hour first-class sedan: $2,280–2,800.
This is the booking for medical appointments where the wait is unknown, days of meetings across Hamilton, Burlington and Oakville, and visitors who want a driver rather than a map. See the hourly chauffeur service in Hamilton for how a day is planned.
Party bus prices in Hamilton
Party buses seat 16 to 36 and come from partner operators. The planning range is $650–750 an hour with a 4–5 hour minimum. A five-hour birthday or bachelorette booking is therefore $3,250–3,750 all-in plus HST.
Because sizes vary, a coordinator confirms the exact bus, the minimum and the price in writing. Ontario's rules on alcohol in vehicles are set by the province; the AGCO is the regulator. We do not serve alcohol. The party bus rental Hamilton page covers group sizes.
Seasonal demand: availability, not price
Prices stay flat through the year. What changes is how early you need to book.
- April to June: proms and graduations. Stretch limousines book out first.
- May to October Saturdays: weddings. Sprinters and first-class sedans go early.
- September and October: the Niagara harvest. SUVs for wine days are in demand.
- December: holiday parties and New Year's Eve.
- Winter storms: drive times grow on the escarpment and the QEW, but the fare does not.
What a quote should show before you pay
Whoever you book with, a fair price quote should list five things. Check for them.
- The vehicle class and passenger capacity.
- The number of hours or the exact route.
- Whether gratuity, tolls and fuel are included.
- How waiting and extra time are billed.
- The cancellation terms.
Our cancellation rule is measured from scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours before, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10 per cent; 48 hours or less, 50 per cent; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100 per cent. If a quote cannot answer those five points, the "cheap" price may not be the final price.
