The HamiltonLimo.net travel desk works with BookingWorldwide.net, an online travel agency, so you can search flights into Hamilton (YHM), Toronto Pearson or Buffalo, plus hotels, resorts, activities, packages and car rental. The travel booking completes on BookingWorldwide.net under its own terms; you then book your chauffeur on HamiltonLimo.net, and we time the car to the same flights and hotel.
What the Hamilton travel desk is, and what it is not
A trip to Hamilton, or out of it, has two halves: the part that happens in the air or at a hotel front desk, and the part that happens on the ground between them. HamiltonLimo.net does the ground half every day. For the other half we work with BookingWorldwide.net, an online travel agency whose search engine sits on our site as the travel desk widget. You search there, you choose there, and you pay there.
We say this plainly because it matters when something changes. A flight, hotel, resort, activity or rental car booked through the travel desk is a BookingWorldwide.net booking: its prices, its terms, its payment and its customer service belong to BookingWorldwide.net and to the airline or hotel concerned. HamiltonLimo.net does not resell tickets, hold your card for a hotel or promise a travel price. What we add is the part the agency cannot: a named chauffeur waiting at the arrivals curb when the flight lands, and the same car there when you check out.
How a trip comes together, step by step
- Search flights, hotels, resorts, activities, packages or car rental in the travel desk widget and complete the booking on BookingWorldwide.net.
- Book your chauffeur on the HamiltonLimo.net reservation engine: choose an airport pickup with your flight number, an hourly chauffeur for a day of sightseeing, or a return to the airport.
- Add the hotel name and your flight numbers in the booking notes. Dispatch holds the chauffeur against that trip: pickup timed to the actual landing, drop-off at the hotel, and the departure run booked back from the check-out time.
- The chauffeur's name, mobile number, vehicle and plate arrive by text before pickup.
Two confirmations, one itinerary. If your flight is rebooked, change it with BookingWorldwide.net or the airline, then tell us the new flight number and we move the car.

Flights into Hamilton, Toronto or Buffalo
People travelling to the Hamilton area have three realistic airports, and the travel desk searches all of them.
Hamilton (YHM) is John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport in Mount Hope, about 15 km and 20–25 minutes from downtown by Upper James Street and the Linc. It is small, quick to walk through and close to everything on the Mountain. Routes and airlines change by season, so check flyhamilton.ca for what is currently flying. A chauffeur from YHM to downtown is a planning range of $90–115 in a business sedan; see the Hamilton airport (YHM) page.
Toronto Pearson (YYZ) in Mississauga has the widest choice of direct international flights; check your booking for Terminal 1 or Terminal 3. It is about 70 km and 45–65 minutes from downtown Hamilton; planning range $245–300. The Pearson airport page explains the pickup areas. The airport's own site posts live arrivals.
Buffalo Niagara (BUF) in New York is sometimes worth comparing for US departures. It is about 105 km and 80–110 minutes from Hamilton plus the border crossing; planning range $375–465. Everyone in the car needs documents valid for entering the United States, and again for coming home. The Buffalo airport page and Buffalo Niagara International Airport have the details.
Choosing between the airports honestly
The cheapest ticket is not always the cheapest trip. A lower fare from Buffalo has to cover a longer drive, a border crossing and an earlier start; a Pearson itinerary with one fewer connection may beat a YHM routing with two. Put the ground leg into the comparison. For a family of four, Hamilton to Pearson in an executive SUV is roughly $405–495 each way; Hamilton to Buffalo in the same SUV is correspondingly more and needs passports. For a solo traveller with a carry-on, YHM's short drive and small terminal can save an hour at each end. We will happily tell you which airport the chauffeur side favours; the air fare side is yours to judge on the travel desk.
Hotels in Hamilton and the surrounding area
The hotel search covers downtown Hamilton, the Mountain, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Burlington, Niagara and Toronto. As a rough guide from the chauffeur's seat: downtown near the Hamilton Convention Centre and TD Coliseum suits conferences, concerts and James Street North dinners; hotels on the Mountain, closer to the airport, suit early departures from YHM; Burlington's lakeshore suits visitors splitting time between Hamilton and Toronto; Niagara-on-the-Lake suits a wine-country stay. Whatever you choose, put the hotel in the booking notes and the chauffeur will know the right door, the loading area and how long the valet lane lets a car stand.
Resorts and getaways
The resort search suits the longer trip: a Muskoka lake weekend, a Niagara-on-the-Lake spa stay, or a sun destination flying out of Pearson. The ground leg is where a chauffeur earns the fare. Hamilton to Muskoka is about 230 km and 2.5–3 hours, planning range $700–865 in a sedan; see Hamilton to Muskoka. Niagara-on-the-Lake is about 70 km and 50–60 minutes, $230–280. For a sun holiday, book the resort package on the travel desk and the Pearson run with us, with 60 minutes of included waiting on the international arrival home.
Activities and day trips
Activities on the travel desk cover tours, attractions and experiences near your destination. Around Hamilton, many visitors combine them with an hourly chauffeur: the waterfalls and Dundas Peak in the morning, the Royal Botanical Gardens after lunch, dinner on Locke Street. Wine country is the classic example; a chauffeur keeps the tasting schedule moving and nobody has to drive. See Niagara wine tours and city and waterfall tours for how those days are planned, and Tourism Hamilton for what is on.
Packages
A package bundles a flight and a hotel, sometimes with a car or activities, at one price on BookingWorldwide.net. Packages are a good fit for a family visit, a sports weekend or a long-weekend getaway. Tell us the package dates and hotel and we will quote the transfers to match: the arrival pickup, the departure run and, if you want one, a chauffeur for a day in between. The transfers are always booked and paid separately on HamiltonLimo.net.
Car rental, or a chauffeur?
The travel desk can also book a rental car, and sometimes that is the right answer, for example a week of self-drive touring around Ontario. For a short stay, a business trip or a visit where you would spend most of the day parked, compare it with a chauffeur. A rental carries the fuel, the parking at hotels and downtown garages, the 407 tolls that arrive by post, winter driving on the escarpment in a car you do not know, and the drive back to the airport return lot before an early flight. An hourly private chauffeur costs more per hour than a rental, but nothing else, and you arrive rested. Many visitors rent for the self-drive days and book us for the airport runs and the evenings out.

Visitors arriving from outside Canada
International visitors should check entry requirements well before booking. Most visa-exempt travellers flying to Canada need an electronic travel authorization; the Government of Canada eTA page explains who needs one, and arrival and customs rules are on the Canada Border Services Agency site. For pickups we allow 60 minutes of included waiting after landing on international flights, because passport control and baggage at Pearson take time. Our family arrivals page covers the meet-and-greet options for relatives who have never been to Canada.
Business travel through the travel desk
Companies bringing visitors to Hamilton use the travel desk to find flights and hotels and then book the ground leg with a HamiltonLimo.net account: the chauffeur at YHM or Pearson, the car between the hotel and the site, and the run back to the airport. Account holders can store traveller profiles so the same preferences follow each visitor. Details are on corporate accounts.
Groups, weddings and events
Wedding guests flying in, a sports team travelling to a tournament, a delegation arriving for a conference: groups book their rooms and flights on the travel desk, and we plan the ground side with Sprinters, SUVs or partner coaches, all on one file. Send the arrival list and the hotel, and a coordinator returns a written plan that matches cars to flights. See Sprinter group transportation.
Who to call about what
- A flight, hotel, resort, activity, package or rental car booked on the travel desk: BookingWorldwide.net or the travel supplier, under their terms.
- Your chauffeur, pickup time, vehicle, waiting or a change of flight number: HamiltonLimo.net dispatch, using the contact details in the page header.
- A missed connection that changes your arrival: rebook with the airline or BookingWorldwide.net, then send us the new flight; we track it and move the car.
Privacy and your details
The travel desk hands your search to BookingWorldwide.net; anything you enter there is handled under its privacy policy. HamiltonLimo.net only sees what you give us on our own booking: names, pickup details, flight numbers and notes. We use them to run the trip and nothing else. See our privacy page.
Timing the chauffeur around check-in and check-out
Hotels in Ontario commonly set check-in in the mid-afternoon and check-out before noon, which rarely lines up with flights. Two small plans solve most of it. On arrival, if your flight lands in the morning, book an hourly chauffeur for three hours instead of a one-way transfer: the chauffeur collects you, leaves the bags at the hotel desk, and takes you to lunch, a meeting or the waterfront until the room is ready. On departure, if the flight leaves in the evening, ask the hotel to hold your bags, and book the airport run from wherever you spend the afternoon. Put both times in the booking notes and dispatch plans the chauffeur around them.
A worked example: a family visit from overseas
A family of four books flights into Toronto Pearson and a Hamilton hotel for a week through the travel desk. With us they book an executive SUV from Pearson to the hotel, planning range roughly $405–495 all-in plus HST, with 60 minutes of included waiting after landing and a child seat for the youngest. Midweek they keep a sedan and chauffeur for four hours to see the waterfalls and the Royal Botanical Gardens, $480–580. At the end of the week the same SUV class takes them back to Pearson. Travel on one booking, ground transportation on the other, and one dispatch desk watching their flights.
