Limo service from Niagara-on-the-Lake hotels
Niagara-on-the-Lake is small, and that is the point: guests come for the theatre, the wineries and a slower weekend, and most would rather not spend it behind the wheel. The trouble is that almost everything worth reaching sits just beyond walking distance. The airports are an hour or more away, the tasting rooms are spread along the Niagara Escarpment benches and the Four Mile Creek flats, and a taxi at 11 p.m. after a Shaw Festival performance is not guaranteed. HamiltonLimo.net fills that gap from our base in Hamilton, 70 km along the QEW. You book on our own reservation engine, see a fixed all-in fare before confirming, and the chauffeur is at the inn door at the time you chose. There is no app in the middle and no marketplace commission, only one dispatch desk.
Inns and hotels we collect from
The Old Town is compact, but each property has its own quirks at the curb. The hotels below were checked as open and taking guests on 30 September 2026 against the Shaw Festival's current accommodation list and the hotels' own sites. We name them only as pickup points; none has a commercial arrangement with us, and we collect from every B&B, cottage and rental in town on the same terms.

| Holiday Inn Express & Staybridge Suites Niagara-on-the-Lake | 524 York Rd | By the QEW | about 62 km, 45–55 min | about 112 km, 75–95 min |
The two properties near the QEW are about 10 minutes closer to every airport than the Old Town inns, which matters on a tight early-morning departure.
Where the car can stop in the Old Town
The Old Town's streets were laid out long before motor cars, and in summer Queen Street is lined with visitors from the clock tower to the Prince of Wales. Our chauffeurs do not idle in a travel lane on Queen Street. At the inns on Picton Street and the hotels on Queen, the car usually stops at the hotel's own entrance or the side street the front desk suggests, and the chauffeur walks the bags in. At Queen's Landing and Harbour House, down by the river and the marina, the approach is quieter and the car pulls up at the door. Riverbend Inn sits on its own drive off the Niagara River Parkway, and the two resorts by the QEW have large front drives. If you are staying in a B&B on a narrow residential street, give the address and any parking note and the chauffeur will confirm the exact spot the day before.
Planning fares from Niagara-on-the-Lake
Planning figures for a business sedan with up to three passengers and three bags, all-in (chauffeur, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if used, airport fees, gratuity) with HST separate, from the Old Town. The engine quotes the exact fare for your hotel and date.
| Niagara-on-the-Lake Old Town to | Distance | Typical drive | Business sedan, all-in + HST |

| Buffalo airport (BUF) | about 50 km | 45–60 min plus the border | $205–255 |
| Downtown Hamilton | about 72 km | 55–65 min | $230–280 |

| Billy Bishop (YTZ) | about 125 km | 90–115 min | $420–505 |
A business SUV (Tahoe or Yukon, five passengers) is about 30 per cent more, about $300–365 to downtown Hamilton; an executive SUV about 65 per cent and a luxury van about 50 per cent more; a first-class sedan about 2.5 times and a Sprinter about 2.75 times the sedan figure. The Niagara-on-the-Lake city page covers pickups from homes and wineries.
From the airport to your inn
International visitors usually arrive at Toronto Pearson; some choose Buffalo for US connections, and a few use Hamilton. On every airport pickup we track the flight, and waiting is included from actual landing: 30 minutes on Canadian domestic and US flights, 60 minutes on other international arrivals. The fare covers curbside pickup at the terminal's commercial pickup area; meet and greet inside arrivals with a name board is an optional add-on, planning $25–35. From Pearson the drive runs along the 403 or 407 to the QEW, over the Burlington Bay James N. Allan Skyway and through the Niagara fruit belt to the Glendale exit, then north to the Old Town. Tired travellers appreciate that the last 15 minutes are through orchards and vineyards rather than city traffic. The Toronto Pearson airport page explains which terminal door to use.
Departure timing from Niagara-on-the-Lake
For a Pearson flight, allow 80 to 105 minutes of driving from the Old Town, plus the airline's check-in time, plus a margin for the QEW through Burlington and Oakville, which slows from about 7 on weekday mornings and again from mid-afternoon. For a 1 p.m. international departure, dispatch will usually suggest an 8 a.m. pickup. For Hamilton airport, about an hour is typical; current routes are on flyhamilton.ca. For Buffalo, the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge is only a few minutes from the Old Town, and bridge wait times are posted by the bridge operators. Everyone crossing needs documents to enter the United States; the requirements are on cbp.gov.
Wine days booked by the hour from your hotel
This is the booking we take most often in Niagara-on-the-Lake, and it is the reason our lead product is the hourly private chauffeur: one car and one chauffeur, a three-hour minimum or a full day, waiting at every winery. By the hour, all-in with HST shown separately, a business sedan is $120–145, an executive SUV $190–235, a first-class sedan $285–350, a Sprinter $330–385 and a VIP Jet Sprinter lounge for up to seven $650–750. A four-hour sedan afternoon is $480–580, shared by up to three people.
A sample afternoon from a Queen Street hotel: 1 p.m. pickup, a tasting on the Niagara River Parkway, a second in the Four Mile Creek area around Virgil, a third on the St. Davids Bench, and back at the inn by 5:30 to change for dinner and the theatre. The Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake association lists members and tasting formats, and our Niagara wine tours page suggests routes by wine style. Many wineries now ask for booked tastings on weekends, so reserve those first and then the car.
Theatre nights at the Shaw Festival
The Shaw Festival brings visitors to Niagara-on-the-Lake for much of the year, and most Old Town hotels are a short walk from its theatres. Where a car helps is for guests staying at the resorts by the QEW or out on the Parkway, for older visitors who would rather not walk back after dark, and for day-trippers from Hamilton, Burlington or Toronto who want dinner and a play without the drive home. Book the return for 20 minutes after the listed end time; the chauffeur waits nearby and comes to the door when you message. Performances end at predictable times, so a dinner-and-theatre evening fits neatly into a four- or five-hour hourly booking.
Weddings at the inns and wineries
Niagara-on-the-Lake is one of Ontario's favourite wedding towns, and the logistics are the same every Saturday: guests spread across several inns, a ceremony at a winery or a church, a reception elsewhere, and a late return. We plan the whole movement on one dispatch. Sprinters carry up to 14 guests, executive SUVs and luxury vans handle family groups, and first-class sedans are the couple's car. Stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce and Maybach cars and coaches come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and a coordinator prices multi-vehicle plans in writing. Photos in the vineyards before sunset add half an hour to the plan; build it in. See wedding limo service and Rolls-Royce chauffeur hire.
Festivals and seasons that change the timing
Late summer and harvest are the busiest months: Queen Street is full, winery car parks overflow, and the Parkway slows behind cyclists. The Niagara wine festivals bring a surge of weekend bookings; the Icewine Festival usually runs in January, and harvest events in September, so check niagarawinefestival.com for the current calendar. In winter the Old Town is quiet and the drive to Pearson is steadier, but snow squalls off the lake can slow the QEW near the Skyway, and we lean towards the executive SUV. Canada Day and long weekends bring heavy traffic at the Queenston end of the Parkway.
Hotel pickups for Hamilton days
It works in the other direction too. Guests staying in Niagara-on-the-Lake sometimes spend a day in Hamilton: the Royal Botanical Gardens, the waterfalls, a Tiger-Cats game at Hamilton Stadium (the former Tim Hortons Field), or James Street North for dinner. Booked hourly from the inn, the chauffeur takes the QEW west for about an hour, waits at each stop and brings everyone back at night. Our city and waterfall tours page suggests itineraries, and the Hamilton waterfalls guide explains which falls are worth the stop in each season.
For innkeepers, concierges and planners
Front desks, B&B owners and wedding planners can book directly on HamiltonLimo.net for their guests. Enter the guest as passenger and your own email for the confirmation, and add notes for the chauffeur: the flight number, a side-street pickup, the number of bags, child seats. The fixed all-in fare is on screen before you confirm. Because it is our own engine rather than an app or a booking marketplace, any change goes through one dispatch desk. For regular guests, a corporate account keeps details and invoices together.
Children, luggage and accessibility
Child seats (infant, convertible, booster) can be added at booking for a planning $10–15 each. Wine-country guests often go home with a case or two; tell us, and choose an SUV or van if bags and cases add up. Our own fleet has no ramp-equipped wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Passengers who can transfer into a seat are welcome and we fold and stow wheelchairs and walkers; where a ramp is needed, we refer you to a specialist accessible provider.
Waiting and cancellation
Hotel pickups include 15 minutes of waiting from the scheduled time, then 15-minute blocks. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup; within 72 hours it costs 10 per cent, within 48 hours 50 per cent, and within 24 hours or a no-show the full fare, measured from the scheduled pickup.
Nearby hotels and towns
For the tower hotels 20 minutes up the Parkway, see Niagara Falls hotels. The St. Catharines and Grimsby and Lincoln pages cover the rest of the peninsula, and the Niagara wine country guide explains the benches and sub-appellations. Guests starting their trip in the city can use our downtown Toronto hotels service, and the hotels hub lists every area we serve. The town's own visitor information is on niagaraonthelake.com.
