HamiltonLimo.net collects guests from downtown Toronto hotels around Union Station, the Financial District and the Entertainment District and drives them to Hamilton, Hamilton airport (YHM), Niagara and Buffalo. Planning fares for a business sedan, all-in plus HST: downtown Hamilton $270–330 (about 68 km, 50–75 min), YHM $295–365, Niagara Falls $415–500. Hourly chauffeurs from $120–145 an hour. Book direct.
Car service from downtown Toronto hotels, heading west
Most of our Toronto hotel pickups have one thing in common: the guest is leaving the city in the direction of Hamilton. A consultant who spent two days at a Bay Street office and now has a site visit in Stoney Creek. A family finishing a weekend of shows and moving on to Niagara Falls. A wedding party staying on Front Street because the flights landed at Pearson, with the ceremony booked at a winery on the Beamsville Bench. For each of them the answer is the same car service: a business sedan, SUV, van or Sprinter from HamiltonLimo.net, booked on our own reservation engine, with a fixed all-in fare shown before anyone confirms. Our chauffeurs run the Gardiner, the QEW and Highway 403 every day, so the Toronto end of the trip is familiar ground rather than a special request.
This page covers the hotels closest to Union Station and the Front Street and King Street corridors. It is written for guests, and just as much for the concierges, event planners and executive assistants who arrange cars for them.
Hotels we collect from around Union Station and King Street
The list below is a working sample of the hotels our chauffeurs are sent to most often in this part of the city. Each one was checked as open and operating on the date this page was written, using the hotel's own site or a current travel listing. They are pickup points only: we have no commercial arrangement with any of them, and we collect from every other hotel, condo lobby and serviced apartment downtown on exactly the same terms.

Hotels north of Queen Street take a few more minutes to reach the Gardiner, which is why the range starts later for them. The distances are to Gore Park in downtown Hamilton and to the John C. Munro terminal in Mount Hope; your exact fare comes from the engine once the hotel and destination are entered.
Where the car stops at a downtown hotel
Every downtown hotel handles cars a little differently, and the chauffeur confirms the door before the day. Where a property has its own forecourt or covered drive, we use it and the doorman usually waves the car in. Where the lobby opens straight onto a busy street, the chauffeur pulls into the loading or taxi lay-by the hotel directs, or waits one block away and moves in when you message that you are coming down. Two special cases come up often. The Toronto Marriott City Centre sits inside Rogers Centre, so on game nights the surrounding streets are managed by police and event staff and we agree the meeting point in advance. The Fairmont Royal York stands directly across Front Street from Union Station, which makes it the easiest hotel in the city to pair with a train arrival. If you are unsure, put the hotel name in the booking notes and dispatch will tell you which door the car will use.
Planning fares from downtown Toronto hotels
These are planning figures for a business sedan carrying up to three passengers with three bags, all-in (chauffeur, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if the chauffeur uses the highway, airport fees and gratuity) with HST shown separately. The reservation engine quotes the exact fare for your hotel, date and vehicle.
| Downtown Toronto hotel to | Distance | Typical drive | Business sedan, all-in + HST |
|---|---|---|---|
| Burlington / Aldershot station | about 55 km | 40–60 min | $205–255 |
| Downtown Hamilton | about 68 km | 50–75 min | $270–330 |
| Ancaster / Dundas | about 75 km | 55–80 min | $280–345 |
| Hamilton airport (YHM), Mount Hope | about 80 km | 60–85 min | $295–365 |
| St. Catharines | about 110 km | 75–100 min | $375–455 |
| Kitchener-Waterloo | about 110 km | 85–115 min | $350–425 |
| Niagara Falls / Niagara-on-the-Lake | about 130 km | 85–115 min | $415–500 |
| Buffalo airport (BUF), via the Peace Bridge | about 160 km | 105–140 min plus the border | $525–650 |
A business SUV (Tahoe or Yukon, five passengers) is about 30 per cent more, about $350–430 to downtown Hamilton; an executive SUV about 65 per cent and a luxury van about 50 per cent more; a first-class sedan about 2.5 times and a Sprinter about 2.75 times the sedan figure. Our Hamilton limo prices guide explains how the fares are built.
Toronto hotel to Pearson or Billy Bishop
We are straightforward about this one. If you are staying downtown and flying out of Toronto Pearson, the airport is only about 25 km away and the UP Express runs from Union Station to Terminal 1; a Toronto-based car or the train is usually the better value for that single hop. The same goes for Billy Bishop, which is a short drive from most Front Street hotels. Where we fit is the trip that also involves Hamilton or Niagara: for example, a morning meeting in Hamilton, lunch in Burlington and an evening Pearson departure, all in one car. That is an hourly booking, not a string of taxis, and the engine prices the whole day. For the Hamilton-to-airport legs themselves, see Hamilton to Pearson limo and Billy Bishop transfers from Hamilton.
Leaving the hotel for a Hamilton airport flight
Some travellers staying in Toronto fly out of Hamilton because a route or fare only operates there; check current routes on flyhamilton.ca, because airlines at YHM change from season to season. Allow for the drive properly. A 7 a.m. departure means leaving a Front Street hotel at about 4:15 a.m.: the Gardiner and QEW are clear at that hour and the run takes about an hour, which leaves the airline's recommended check-in time with room to spare. For a late-morning flight on a weekday, dispatch will usually suggest leaving by 7:30 a.m., because the westbound QEW through Mississauga and Oakville is slow from about 7 to 9:30. In winter, add 20 to 30 minutes for the climb up the escarpment on the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway. The Hamilton airport guide covers the terminal and drop-off.
Arriving at Union Station and checking in
Plenty of hotel guests reach downtown Toronto by train: VIA Rail from Montréal or Ottawa, GO from the suburbs, or the UP Express from Pearson. If your plan is to drop bags at a Front Street hotel and then head west, we can meet the train at Union Station, take you across to the hotel to check in, wait while you change, and carry on to Hamilton. Train pickups are tracked, with 15 minutes of included waiting after the actual arrival and then 15-minute blocks. The Union Station pickup page explains where cars can stop on Front Street and how to find the chauffeur.
An hourly chauffeur from the lobby
The product we are built around is the hourly private chauffeur: one car and one professional chauffeur for a three-hour minimum or a whole day. For a hotel guest it is often the simplest way to get through a working day that crosses city limits. Planning rates, all-in plus HST: business sedan $120–145 an hour, executive SUV $190–235, first-class sedan $285–350, Sprinter $330–385, each with a three-hour minimum and extra time in 30-minute blocks. A four-hour sedan booking comes to $480–580.
A typical day for a visiting executive: 8 a.m. pickup at a King Street hotel, a 9:30 meeting at McMaster Innovation Park in Hamilton, a plant walk-through in Stoney Creek, lunch on James Street North, and back to the hotel by 4 p.m. That is an eight-hour booking, and the same car and chauffeur carry the laptop bag and the samples all day. The hourly chauffeur service page has more worked examples, and corporate accounts can bill several travellers to one invoice.
Niagara days out from a Toronto hotel
The day trip we run most often from downtown hotels is Niagara: Table Rock at the Horseshoe Falls, a boat ride, lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake and two or three wineries, then the QEW back after dinner. Booked hourly, the chauffeur waits at each stop, so nobody watches a parking meter and nobody has to stay sober for the drive home. A 10-hour sedan day is a planning $1,200–1,450 all-in plus HST for up to three people; an executive SUV for six is $1,900–2,350. The Niagara wine tours page suggests routes, and Niagara Parks lists what is open at the Falls in each season.
Weddings and group moves from downtown
Out-of-town wedding guests often land at Pearson, stay a night or two in downtown Toronto and then travel to a ceremony in Hamilton, Burlington or Niagara. We move them in Sprinters (up to 14 passengers with bags), executive SUVs and luxury vans, and for larger groups a coordinator prices partner coaches in writing. Stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce and Maybach cars and party buses come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and we say so on the quote. A typical plan is a Sprinter loop from two downtown hotels at 1 p.m., the ceremony at 3, the reception, and a return run at midnight. See wedding limo service and Sprinter group transportation.
Conventions, concerts and game nights
The Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Front Street West, Scotiabank Arena and Rogers Centre all sit within a short walk of the hotels on this page, which is why the streets around them can lock up before and after an event. If a delegate needs to leave a convention for a Hamilton meeting, book the car for 20 minutes before the session ends and name the exit door; the chauffeur will be on the side street, not idling in front of the main entrance. After a concert or a Blue Jays game, we recommend a pickup at your hotel rather than at the venue, because the hotel lobby is usually a calmer meeting point than a closed-off stretch of Bremner Boulevard.
For concierges, planners and assistants
Hotel concierges and event planners can book directly on HamiltonLimo.net for their guests. Enter the guest's name as the passenger, your own email for the confirmation, and anything the chauffeur needs to know in the notes: flight numbers, the room block name, a preferred exit, child seats. The engine shows the fixed all-in fare before you confirm, so there is no meter to explain later. Because the booking sits on our own system rather than an app or a marketplace, there is one dispatch desk to call if plans change, and no aggregator commission built into the price. For repeat bookings, a corporate account keeps passenger details and billing in one place.
Choosing the right vehicle for the guest
The business sedan carries three passengers and three standard bags and suits most solo and couple trips. A first-class sedan (S-Class or 7 Series class) is the choice for a senior executive or a special occasion. The executive SUV handles six passengers or a family with ski bags and car seats, and does better on snowy escarpment roads. The luxury van is easiest for older passengers who prefer a sliding door and a lower step. For a group of up to 14 with luggage, the Sprinter keeps everyone together. For up to seven executives who want to work or meet on the way, the Jet Sprinter is a VIP lounge conversion with captain's chairs and work tables, at $650–750 an hour. Tell us the bag count honestly: two large suitcases per person is a very different car from one carry-on each.
Crossing to Buffalo from a Toronto hotel
Some downtown guests have a flight out of Buffalo because the US route or fare suits them better. From Front Street the drive runs along the QEW through Hamilton and Niagara to the Peace Bridge at Fort Erie, about 160 km before the border queue. Everyone in the car needs documents to enter the United States; check requirements on cbp.gov before you travel. Allow at least three and a half hours from the hotel to the departure gate at Buffalo on a normal weekday, more on holiday weekends. Our crossing the border by limo guide explains how the inspection works with a chauffeur.
Bags, children and passengers who need help
Chauffeurs load and unload every bag at the hotel door and at the destination. Child seats (infant, convertible and booster) can be added at booking for a planning $10–15 each; tell us the child's age and weight so the right seat is fitted before pickup. Our own fleet has no ramp-equipped wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Passengers who can transfer into a seat are welcome, and we fold and stow wheelchairs and walkers in the trunk; if a ramp vehicle is needed, we will point you to a specialist accessible provider rather than send the wrong car.
Timing, cancellation and waiting
For a hotel pickup, 15 minutes of waiting is included from the scheduled time, then 15-minute blocks; the chauffeur messages when parked. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup; 72 hours or less costs 10 per cent, 48 hours or less 50 per cent, and 24 hours or less or a no-show is charged in full. If a meeting runs long on an hourly booking, the car simply stays and extra time is added in 30-minute blocks. Traffic reports on 511 Ontario are worth a glance before you set the pickup time on a winter evening.
Other hotels and cities we serve
If your trip continues beyond Toronto, the same service runs from hotels in downtown Hamilton, Burlington hotels, Niagara Falls hotels and Pearson airport hotels. The Toronto city page covers trips from homes and offices across the city, and the hotels hub lists every hotel area we serve.

Planning your trip into Hamilton
If Hamilton is new to you, the first-time visitor's guide covers the neighbourhoods, the waterfalls and the places to eat, and Destination Toronto is the official source for the city end of your stay. Our travel desk can also help with flights and hotel nights, with the ground legs added to the same plan.
