Etobicoke limo service on Toronto's west side
Etobicoke is Toronto's western district, running from the Lake Ontario shoreline at Humber Bay and Long Branch up through the Kingsway and Islington to Rexdale and the edge of Pearson. For an Etobicoke limo service, that position is everything: Pearson is about 15 minutes from the centre of the district, downtown Toronto is a straight run along the Gardiner, and Hamilton and Niagara are reached without crossing the city at all.
Every trip is booked on the HamiltonLimo.net reservation engine. Enter the Etobicoke address, choose the vehicle, and the engine shows a fixed all-in fare covering chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 tolls if used, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately. There is no meter running in Gardiner traffic and no surge on a wet Friday.
Etobicoke neighbourhoods and pickup landmarks
- Humber Bay Shores: the lakeshore condo towers by Humber Bay Park and the Humber Bay Arch Bridge, reached from Lake Shore Boulevard West and Park Lawn Road.
- Mimico, New Toronto and Long Branch: the lakeshore villages along Lake Shore Boulevard West, each with its own GO station on the Lakeshore West line.
- The Kingsway and Islington Village: tree-lined residential streets around Bloor Street West, with Royal York and Islington subway stations.
- Kipling and Etobicoke City Centre: the Kipling transit hub, where Line 2 ends and the Kipling GO station serves the Milton line.
- Sherway Gardens and The Queensway: shopping and big-box retail near the QEW and 427.
- Rexdale and the airport strip: the Dixon Road hotels, Woodbine Racetrack and the Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto.
- Humber Polytechnic campuses in north Etobicoke and on Lake Shore, and Etobicoke General Hospital, part of William Osler Health System.
For condo towers at Humber Bay Shores, tell us which lobby and whether the building has a drop-off loop; many share a single side street.
Etobicoke fares to Pearson, Toronto, Hamilton and Niagara
Planning figures below are for a business sedan, one way, all-in plus HST, from central Etobicoke. Etobicoke to Hamilton is our published band; other rows are derived from it. The reservation engine quotes your exact address, date and vehicle.
| Etobicoke to | Distance | Typical drive | Sedan, all-in + HST |
|---|---|---|---|
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | about 15 km | 15–25 min | $100–125 |
| Union Station, Toronto | about 18 km | 20–40 min | $115–145 |
| Billy Bishop (YTZ) | about 17 km | 20–40 min | $120–150 |

| Buffalo airport (BUF) | about 145 km | 95–125 min | $475–575 |
A first-class sedan is about 2.5 times the business-sedan figure, an executive SUV adds about 65 per cent, a luxury van about 50 per cent, and a Sprinter is about 2.75 times. Our Hamilton limo prices guide explains the bands.
Etobicoke to Toronto Pearson in about 15 minutes
From the Kingsway or Islington, the chauffeur takes Highway 427 north to the airport ramps; from Humber Bay Shores, the Gardiner west to the 427. About 15 km, 15 minutes at night and up to 25 minutes in the weekday peak or when the 427 collector lanes jam.
Confirm Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 on your booking before entering it; torontopearson.com lists airline terminals. For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and waits at the commercial pickup curb, with 30 minutes of included waiting on Canadian and US flights and 60 minutes on other international flights, from actual landing. Meet and greet inside arrivals with a name board is optional, planning $25–35. See our Toronto Pearson limo page.

The Dixon Road airport hotel strip
Dixon Road, on Etobicoke's northern edge beside the airport, is lined with conference and airport hotels, and it is one of our busiest pickup zones for crews, conference delegates and travellers with early flights. Open hotels we serve there include the Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto Airport & Conference Centre at 655 Dixon Road. Farther north, the Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto beside Woodbine Racetrack has its own hotel.
Hotel pickups are at the main lobby door or porte-cochère; if a hotel directs cars to a side entrance during a conference, the chauffeur messages you. Popular trips from the strip: a quick hop to the terminals, a day of meetings downtown, an evening in Hamilton or a full-day Niagara tour. We have no partnership with any hotel; concierges and planners book direct on the reservation engine. More lobbies are covered on our Pearson airport hotels page.
Union Station, downtown and Billy Bishop
Downtown Toronto is about 18 km east along the Gardiner Expressway or Lake Shore Boulevard. At midday that is 20 minutes; at 8:30 a.m. or on a Friday afternoon, it can be 40. The chauffeur drops at Union Station Toronto for VIA Rail, GO or the UP Express, or at your office tower.
Billy Bishop airport is especially convenient from the lakeshore neighbourhoods: Lake Shore Boulevard runs almost straight to Bathurst Street and the mainland pavilion on Eireann Quay, where cars stop and passengers take the tunnel or the short ferry. Plan to be at the pavilion an hour before a Porter or Air Canada departure.
Hourly chauffeur service in Etobicoke
For days with several stops, the hourly chauffeur service is the better booking. One car and one chauffeur stay with you for a three-hour minimum or a full day, extended in 30-minute blocks.
Planning hourly rates, all-in plus HST: business sedan $120–145, first-class sedan $285–350, executive SUV $190–235, Sprinter $330–385. A four-hour sedan booking is $480–580. Etobicoke examples:
- A conference delegate staying on Dixon Road with meetings downtown, in Mississauga and in Vaughan.
- A film or TV crew moving between studios, locations and hotels; see film and TV production transport.
- A day of specialist appointments at Etobicoke General and a downtown hospital.
- Visiting family who want the CN Tower, the lakeshore and dinner without driving.
Our private chauffeur page covers longer engagements.
Humber Bay, the lakeshore and waterfront occasions
Humber Bay Park and the white Humber Bay Arch Bridge over the mouth of the Humber River are favourite photo spots for weddings, proposals and graduation photos, with the downtown skyline across the water. The waterfront trail runs along the shore through Mimico and Long Branch. For a proposal or anniversary, a first-class sedan by the hour with a stop at the park at sunset is a common request; see date night and proposals. Parks and trails are run by the City of Toronto, and some photography uses need permits.

Woodbine Racetrack and the casino resort
Woodbine Racetrack in Rexdale hosts thoroughbred racing, including the King's Plate, usually in the summer; check Woodbine for race dates. Next door, the Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto has gaming, restaurants, a theatre and a hotel. On big race days and concert nights, the approach roads from Highway 427 and Rexdale Boulevard fill up; the chauffeur agrees a pickup door with you in advance. Our casino limo page covers evenings at casinos around the region, including the resort's owner Great Canadian.
Etobicoke to Hamilton and Niagara
Etobicoke is the easiest part of Toronto from which to reach Hamilton: the QEW starts where the Gardiner ends at the 427, so the chauffeur is on the right highway within minutes. About 60 km and 45 to 60 minutes. Etobicoke clients go to Hamilton for McMaster, family events, flights from YHM (check flyhamilton.ca) and Tiger-Cats games at Hamilton Stadium (the former Tim Hortons Field).
Niagara is about 110 km along the same QEW. A full-day hourly booking takes in the Falls, the Niagara Parkway and a winery lunch; see our Hamilton to Niagara Falls route for timing and our Niagara wine tours for itineraries. For US trips, our cross-border limo page explains documents and bridges.
Roads and traffic around Etobicoke
- Highway 427 runs north-south between the QEW/Gardiner and Pearson, with collector and express lanes that each jam at different times.
- The Gardiner Expressway heads downtown; lane closures for rehabilitation work have been common in recent years.
- The QEW begins at the 427 and runs west to Hamilton and Niagara.
- Highway 401 and Highway 409 cross north Etobicoke; the 409 is the direct link to the airport from the 401.
- Lake Shore Boulevard West and The Queensway are the surface alternatives when the Gardiner is closed.
Chauffeurs check Ontario 511 and city closures before every airport run and leave earlier in snow at no extra cost; the fixed fare does not change.
Rail and transit connections in Etobicoke
Etobicoke has more rail options than most of the suburbs we serve, and our chauffeurs use them as meeting points as often as drop-offs. The Lakeshore West GO line stops at Mimico and Long Branch, the Milton line at Kipling, and the Kitchener line at Etobicoke North. Line 2 of the subway ends at Kipling, where TTC buses and MiWay routes meet. Check schedules on GO Transit before planning around a train.
A common pattern: a visitor rides the GO from downtown to Long Branch or Kipling, and a chauffeur meets them at the station curb for the last leg to a Dixon Road hotel, a Humber Bay condo or Hamilton. Station pickups include train tracking and 15 minutes of waiting, then 15-minute blocks.
Timing an Etobicoke airport run by season
- Winter: lake-effect squalls are rarer here than in Halton, but freezing rain on the 427 ramps slows everything; dispatch sends the car earlier at no charge.
- Spring and summer: construction on the Gardiner and the 427 interchange shifts routes; the chauffeur checks closures the night before a morning flight.
- Long weekends: Friday afternoon departures from Pearson are the busiest of the year, so allow the top of the time range.
- Late-night arrivals: from midnight to 5 a.m. the 427 is clear and the drive home to the lakeshore is close to 15 minutes.
Choosing a vehicle in Etobicoke
- Business sedan (3 passengers, 3 bags): Pearson runs, downtown meetings. Business sedan.
- Business SUV (5 passengers, 5 bags): a black Tahoe or Yukon at close to sedan money, with winter traction; a planning $130–165 to Pearson or $145–175 an hour, all-in plus HST.
- First-class sedan (3/3): executives, proposals, weddings. First-class sedan.
- Executive SUV (6/6): families and luggage. Executive SUV.
- Luxury van (6/6): elders and child seats.
- Sprinter (14/14): crews, conference groups and wedding parties. Sprinter group transportation.
- Jet Sprinter (7/5): a VIP lounge Sprinter for producers, talent and executives who need to work between stops; planning $650–750 an hour.
Child seats are added at booking for a planning $10–15 each. Our fleet has no ramp-equipped wheelchair-accessible vehicles; passengers who can transfer are welcome, and chauffeurs stow folding wheelchairs and walkers. Stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce models and party buses come from vetted partners in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network and are priced in writing by a coordinator.
