HamiltonLimo.net runs chauffeured cars, minivans and Sprinters to Forge FC home matches at Hamilton Stadium on Melrose Avenue, the same ground the Tiger-Cats use. Planning figures: $75–100 one way in a sedan within Hamilton, $90–115 from Burlington, $145–175 from Oakville. Families usually book an hourly chauffeur (3-hour minimum, $120–145 an hour in a sedan) so the car waits through the match.
Forge FC game car service in Hamilton
Forge FC is Hamilton's professional soccer club in the Canadian Premier League, and its home matches are the most family-friendly big crowd in the city. A chauffeured ride suits them for different reasons than a football night: kids and car seats, a match that ends at a predictable time, supporters who want to sing in the stands without anyone driving, and visiting fans who do not know the east end. HamiltonLimo.net books one-way drops, round trips and hourly chauffeurs in Hamilton for matches, with fixed fares shown before you confirm. The rest of this page covers where the car stops, how long to book, which vehicle fits a family or a supporters' group, and how the stadium works on match day.
The venue: same stadium as the Ticats, different match day
Forge plays at the stadium at 64 Melrose Avenue North, which opened as Hamilton Stadium (the former Tim Hortons Field) and now operates as Hamilton Stadium while a new naming sponsor is found. It is shared with the Tiger-Cats. For soccer the atmosphere is concentrated in the lower bowl, supporters gather in their own section, and crowds are usually smaller than a big CFL night, which makes arriving and leaving noticeably easier. The street grid is the same tight residential neighbourhood between Cannon Street East, Barton Street and King Street East, so the same rule applies: the car drops a short walk from the gates, not at them. Check the Canadian Premier League site for the current schedule, kickoff times and any change of venue.
When Forge FC plays at home
The CPL season usually runs from April into October, with playoffs in the autumn, and Forge also plays cup matches in the Canadian Championship and, in some years, continental competition. Many league matches are weekend afternoons or early evenings, with some midweek night games. Kickoff times move for broadcast, so we never list fixtures here; confirm the date and time on the league or club channels, then book. Spring matches in April can be cold and wet on the open ends of the stadium, and an early-season night game is a jacket occasion even when the afternoon felt warm.
Planning fares to a Forge FC match
Business sedan, one way, all-in (chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, gratuity, any 407 tolls), HST shown separately. The stadium is about 4 km east of downtown, so most Hamilton addresses fall in the first line. The booking engine prices the exact address.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Anywhere in Hamilton (lower city or the Mountain) | up to 15 km | 10–25 min | $75–100 | $115–165 |
| Waterdown / Binbrook | about 20 km | 20–30 min | $80–105 | $120–175 |

Sprinter fares are about 2.75 times the sedan figure. A Business SUV (Tahoe or Yukon, up to 5 passengers and 5 bags) is about 1.3 times the sedan, $100–130 one way within Hamilton, with winter traction for a family of five. Full details are on the rates page.
Hourly examples for a family match day
A 4 pm Saturday kickoff for a family of five in Stoney Creek: pickup at 2:45, match and exit until about 6:15, home by 6:45. That is four hours in a luxury van, roughly $750–940 all-in plus HST at the van's hourly rate. The same afternoon in a sedan for a couple is a 4-hour booking at $480–580. A supporters' group of ten from Brantford in a Sprinter for six hours runs about $1,980–2,310 before HST. Where the family lives close to the stadium and does not mind a separate ride home, two one-way sedan transfers at $75–100 each may be cheaper; the reservation engine lets you compare both. The Hamilton limo prices guide explains the difference in more detail.
Families and kids: seats, snacks and early exits
Soccer is where parents most often bring small children, so the family details matter. Infant, convertible and booster seats are available on request at a planning figure of $10–15 each; add them when you book so the chauffeur installs them before pickup, and tell us the children's ages rather than guessing the seat type. A luxury minivan gives the easiest step-in height and room for a folded stroller. If a toddler hits a wall at half-time, text the chauffeur: on an hourly booking the car can meet you early at the agreed corner, and you have not lost a parking spot or a ride-share gamble. Snacks for the drive are fine; please keep sticky drinks for the stadium.

Where the car stops on match day
Match-day policing is lighter than for a Ticats game, but Melrose, Balsam and Beechwood right beside the gates still fill with fans and are not idling spots, and closures can apply for bigger events. The chauffeur drops you on a through street a few minutes away, most often King Street East, Barton Street East or Cannon Street clear of any closure, and texts the corner before you arrive. For a wheelchair user or an older supporter, the Tiger-Cats list accessible drop-off zones at Gate 1A on Balsam and Gate 4A on Melrose; we use the one nearest your section where permitted. Check the gate and bag rules on the team's stadium information pages, which cover both clubs' match days.
Getting home after full time
Soccer finishes close to the scheduled time: ninety minutes, half-time and stoppage time put most league matches at around one hour fifty-five from kickoff to final whistle. Cup matches can go to extra time and penalties, which adds another forty minutes or so. On an hourly booking the chauffeur tracks the score and moves to the meeting point as the match ends; you get a text with the car and plate. Choose a landmark two or three blocks from the stadium, walk out with the crowd, and the car is waiting. If you stay behind for autographs or a supporters' gathering, send a message and the chauffeur waits.
Supporters' groups and away fans
Forge's supporters travel and sing, and groups often want to arrive together, flags and drums in hand. A Sprinter from our own fleet takes up to fourteen with their gear and is the standard choice; see Sprinter group transportation. Visiting supporters coming in from Toronto, York or elsewhere in Ontario can book a Sprinter from Union Station or their hotel, and fans flying in can be collected at the airport. Bigger supporters' trips, such as a full bus to a cup match, can use a coach from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, priced in writing by a coordinator. Please tell us about flares and smoke devices: they are not allowed in any vehicle.
Coming from Burlington, Oakville and Brantford
Most Forge fans from outside the city come from Burlington, Oakville and Brantford. From Burlington, the chauffeur uses the QEW and the Skyway or Plains Road and York Boulevard, depending on traffic, and reaches the stadium in 15–25 minutes. From Oakville it is 30–40 minutes on the QEW, from Brantford 30–40 minutes via Highway 403 and the Linc or the Red Hill Valley Parkway. For weekend-afternoon kickoffs traffic is usually easy; for weekday evening matches the 403 and QEW are still in rush hour until about 6:30, so allow an extra 15 minutes. The Burlington car service page has more on that side of the bay.
Pairing a match with a day out in Hamilton
A Forge weekend-afternoon match fits nicely into a longer hourly booking, because the city has plenty to add around it. Families pair a match with lunch on Locke Street, a morning at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum by the airport or an hour at Bayfront Park; couples add dinner on James Street North. With an hourly chauffeur the car carries the day's shopping and jackets between stops, and you only book one vehicle. Ideas are on the first-time visitor's guide to Hamilton, and Tourism Hamilton keeps a current events calendar.
Weather on match day
The stadium's ends are open to the wind off the bay, so a sunny April afternoon can feel cold in the shade and summer evening matches can end in a thunderstorm. When a storm is forecast, matches can be paused for lightning and the finish time slides; on an hourly booking that is simply extra time in 30-minute blocks, and the chauffeur keeps the car close so nobody waits in the rain. For weather updates, Environment Canada is the reliable source, and the league and club post any delay.

Accessibility and older fans
For grandparents and fans with limited mobility, the combination of a close drop-off, a vehicle with a low step and a car waiting at the end makes a real difference. Tell us which gate and section you need, whether a folding wheelchair or walker travels with you, and whether the guest needs help to and from the door. The chauffeur will help with bags and mobility aids at the vehicle. If you need a ramp-equipped wheelchair-accessible vehicle, say so at booking and the desk will confirm honestly whether one is available for that date rather than promise it.
Transit, shuttles and when a chauffeur is worth it
HSR buses serve the stadium area and there are express shuttle services on major match days; check HSR and the club for what runs for your match. For one adult near a bus route, transit is the cheapest answer. A chauffeur earns its fare when you are travelling with small children and car seats, bringing an older relative, coming from outside Hamilton, hosting visiting family, or moving a group that wants to arrive together. It is a convenience decision, and we would rather you choose the right one for your family.
Visiting fans from Kitchener-Waterloo, Niagara and the airports
Away supporters and neutral fans come to Hamilton for Forge's big matches, and a chauffeured ride is the easy way to handle an unfamiliar city. From Kitchener-Waterloo the run is 50–65 minutes via Highway 8 and the 403, $220–270 one way in a sedan; from Niagara Falls about an hour on the QEW, $230–280. Fans flying in land at Hamilton's own airport, about 20 minutes from the stadium, or at Pearson, 45–65 minutes away, and every airport pickup includes flight tracking and included waiting (30 minutes on Canadian and US flights, 60 minutes on other international arrivals). For a weekend trip, book the airport transfer, an hourly chauffeur for match day and the return run as one itinerary; see the Hamilton airport YHM page.
How to book your Forge FC ride direct
Book on HamiltonLimo.net's own reservation engine: pickup address, the stadium as destination or an hourly booking, the date, the vehicle and any child seats. The engine shows a fixed all-in fare before you confirm, HST separately, and it does not rise on match day. Booking direct means one dispatch desk, no app and no aggregator commission. Free cancellation more than 72 hours before pickup; 10 % at 72 hours or less, 50 % at 48 hours or less, 100 % at 24 hours or less or a no-show. For every other venue we serve, see concert and game day limo.
