HamiltonLimo.net runs limo and black car service in Fort Erie, at the Canadian end of the Peace Bridge. Planning figures from Fort Erie: Buffalo airport $140–175 (20–30 minutes plus the border), downtown Hamilton $240–295, Toronto Pearson $400–490, all-in plus HST. Hourly sedan service runs $120–145 an hour with a three-hour minimum. Book direct at /book/.
Black car service at the Peace Bridge
Fort Erie is the most cross-border town we serve. The QEW ends here at the Peace Bridge, and Buffalo's downtown is visible across the Niagara River. For residents that means two airport systems within reach: Buffalo Niagara International, about 25 km past the bridge, and the Toronto airports, well over an hour away in the other direction. Our chauffeurs are dispatched from Hamilton, about 85 km away, and every trip is priced as a fixed all-in fare before you confirm on the HamiltonLimo.net reservation engine. The fare covers chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 tolls if used, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately.
Fort Erie neighbourhoods and landmarks
The town stretches along the Niagara River and the Lake Erie shore. Chauffeurs confirm pickups using a handful of reference points: the Peace Bridge plaza and the old downtown on Jarvis Street; Garrison Road, the commercial strip west of the bridge; Old Fort Erie on Lakeshore Road, the War of 1812 fort operated by Niagara Parks as a living museum; Ridgeway, the village inland; and Crystal Beach, the lakeside community with Bay Beach and its sandy shore. The Friendship Trail runs about 16 km along an old rail bed across the town, and the Niagara Parkway starts here and follows the river north to Niagara Falls. The Town of Fort Erie posts road and event notices.
Planning fares from Fort Erie
Planning ranges for a business sedan, one way, all-in plus HST, derived from our Hamilton bands and the Fort Erie figure of $240–295 to Hamilton. Border wait times are not predictable and are not included in the drive times. Type in your street address, date and vehicle and the engine returns the exact fixed fare.
| Fort Erie to | Distance | Typical drive | Sedan, all-in + HST |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buffalo airport (BUF) | about 25 km | 20–30 min + border | $140–175 |
| Niagara Falls NY airport (IAG) | about 45 km | 40–55 min + border | $190–230 |
| Niagara Falls, Ontario | about 30 km | 25–35 min | $105–140 |
| Downtown Hamilton | about 85 km | 55–70 min | $240–295 |
| Hamilton airport (YHM) | about 95 km | 65–80 min | $265–325 |
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | about 140 km | 95–120 min | $400–490 |
| Union Station / Billy Bishop | about 135 km | 95–125 min | $415–515 |
An executive SUV adds about 65 per cent, a luxury van about 50 per cent, a first-class sedan about 2.5 times the business sedan, and a Sprinter about 2.75 times. The Hamilton limo prices guide explains how the bands are set.
Fort Erie to Buffalo airport
This is the trip we do most from Fort Erie. The chauffeur crosses the Peace Bridge, clears US inspection at the Buffalo plaza, and takes the I-190 and Route 33 to Buffalo Niagara International in Cheektowaga. Without a queue it is 20 to 30 minutes. With one, it can be much longer, so dispatch checks the bridge's posted wait times before pickup and adjusts. Peace Bridge publishes current waits and lane information, and NEXUS holders can use dedicated lanes when everyone in the car is enrolled.
Every passenger needs documents for entering the United States; CBP lists what is accepted. For flights, allow for the bridge as well as the airport's own check-in advice. Our Buffalo airport limo page covers the terminal, and the crossing the border by limo guide explains what happens at inspection in both directions.
Buffalo arrivals home to Fort Erie
On the way back, the chauffeur tracks your flight and waits at the commercial pickup area: 30 minutes included for Canadian and US flights, 60 minutes for other international arrivals, counted from actual landing. The return crossing into Canada is inspected by the CBSA; declare purchases honestly and keep receipts handy. If you would like the chauffeur inside the arrivals hall with a name board, that meet and greet is an add-on at a planning $25–35.

Fort Erie Race Track
Fort Erie Race Track has run thoroughbred racing since the 1890s and is still racing: its 2026 season, the track's 129th, runs from late May to October 20, with the Prince of Wales Stakes, the second leg of the Canadian Triple Crown, on Labour Day. Race days are mostly Sundays early in the season and Mondays and Tuesdays through the summer; confirm the card on forterieracing.com.
A group booking a Sprinter by the hour, collected in Hamilton, Burlington or St. Catharines, is a good way to do the Prince of Wales day: lunch, the afternoon card and the ride home without anyone driving. Racetrack parking fills on stakes days, so the chauffeur agrees a pickup point before the last race.
Hourly chauffeur service in Fort Erie
The hourly rate is the same across our area: a business sedan is a planning $120–145 an hour all-in plus HST, a first-class sedan $285–350, an executive SUV $190–235 and a Sprinter $330–385, three-hour minimum and extra time in 30-minute blocks. Four hours in a sedan is $480–580 all-in plus HST.
Hourly suits Fort Erie well, because days here often mix both sides of the river. Examples: a shopping trip into the Buffalo area with a stop for lunch and the return crossing; a day of meetings for a cross-border business with offices in Fort Erie and Buffalo; a family day along the Niagara Parkway, the falls and a winery; a race day. For trips that cross the border on an hourly booking, every passenger needs documents for both countries. Read the hourly chauffeur service in Hamilton page and our cross-border limo page.
Crystal Beach and the Lake Erie shore
Crystal Beach draws summer crowds to its sandy public beach, and cottages and rentals line the shore towards Ridgeway and Point Abino. We pick up guests arriving at Buffalo or Pearson for a week at the lake, and run groups to dinner in Niagara-on-the-Lake or Niagara Falls. Summer Saturdays bring beach traffic on Ridge Road and Highway 3; our dispatchers plan around it.
Travellers arriving from the United States
Many of our Fort Erie bookings are Americans heading into Ontario: Buffalo families going to a wedding in Hamilton, business travellers bound for Toronto, visitors to Niagara-on-the-Lake. The chauffeur can meet you on the US side at Buffalo airport and drive straight through the Peace Bridge. Visitors driving into Canada by land do not need an eTA, which applies to air travel; check the eTA page for your situation. Our Buffalo to Hamilton page covers that route in detail.

Fort Erie to Toronto Pearson and Hamilton
For long-haul flights, Pearson is still the main choice. The chauffeur takes the QEW north past Niagara Falls and St. Catharines, along the lake through Grimsby and Hamilton, over the Burlington Skyway and on to the airport by the QEW and 427 or the tolled 407. About 140 km, 95 minutes at night and up to two hours in the morning. See the Hamilton to Pearson limo page for timing on the second half of the trip. Hamilton airport (YHM) is about 95 km away; check flyhamilton.ca for its current routes.
Weddings and events
Fort Erie weddings often mix guests from both countries, which makes transport planning more important than usual. We can collect American guests from Buffalo hotels, bring them across the bridge and return them at the end of the night, as long as everyone has documents. The couple usually has a first-class sedan or SUV; guests travel in a Sprinter. Stretch limousines and party buses come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, priced in writing by a coordinator. See wedding limo.
Hotels in Fort Erie
Hotels here are small and clustered near the bridge and along Garrison Road; the Comfort Inn on Hospitality Drive, close to the QEW, is one travellers use for early Buffalo departures. Cars wait at the front entrance. Many visitors prefer to stay in Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake; our Niagara Falls hotels and Niagara-on-the-Lake hotels pages explain the drop points. A front desk can book direct for its guests.
Nearby towns on the same desk
Fort Erie shares dispatch with Welland, Niagara Falls and St. Catharines, plus Port Colborne, Stevensville and Ridgeway. Every pickup uses the same fixed-fare engine.
Timing a Buffalo flight from Fort Erie
The drive is short; the border is the variable. Our dispatch rule of thumb for a domestic US departure from Buffalo is to leave Fort Erie about two and a quarter hours before take-off on a weekday morning, and closer to two and three-quarters on a Friday afternoon, a holiday weekend or a day when the Peace Bridge posts long waits. Early-morning departures before 7 a.m. usually cross quickly. If the bridge is backed up, the chauffeur may suggest the Lewiston-Queenston or Rainbow Bridge further north; Niagara Falls Bridges posts those waits. A longer route chosen by us does not change your fixed fare.
Tell us at booking whether everyone in the car is a NEXUS member, whether anyone is carrying goods to declare, and whether you are travelling with pets or medication that needs paperwork. Surprises at primary inspection cost more time than traffic.
Old Fort Erie and the Niagara Parkway by the hour
The Niagara Parkway begins at Fort Erie and follows the river for 56 km to Niagara-on-the-Lake, past parks, picnic spots, the falls and the wineries near Queenston. It is one of the most scenic drives in the province, and it is best done slowly with someone else at the wheel. A typical hourly booking starts with Old Fort Erie, where costumed interpreters tell the story of the 1814 siege, then follows the river north with stops at the falls and a winery lunch before the return. Four to six hours in a sedan or SUV covers it comfortably; a Sprinter suits a family reunion or a group of visitors from Buffalo. The Niagara Falls attraction guide lists the main stops.
Luggage, child seats and accessibility
A business sedan takes three passengers and three cases; a business SUV (a Tahoe or Yukon) takes five and five at close to sedan money, a planning $185–230 to Buffalo airport or $145–175 an hour; an executive SUV or luxury van takes six of each, a Sprinter fourteen, and the Jet Sprinter, a VIP lounge at $650–750 an hour, seven passengers and five bags. Ask for infant, convertible or booster seats when booking, at a planning $10–15 each. Chauffeurs help with bags and fold walkers or wheelchairs into the trunk for passengers who can transfer to a seat; our fleet has no ramp-equipped wheelchair vehicles.
Book direct and cancellation
Book on HamiltonLimo.net, not a marketplace or app: one dispatch desk, no aggregator commission and the fare fixed before you confirm. If plans change, cancel more than 72 hours before pickup at no cost; from 72 hours the fee is 10 per cent, from 48 hours 50 per cent, and from 24 hours, or for a no-show, 100 per cent. Away from airports, the first 15 minutes of waiting are included and further waiting runs in 15-minute blocks.
