Hotels in Brantford sit mostly by Highway 403: the Best Western and Hampton Inn in the north end, the Days Inn on Fairview Drive, the Comfort Inn on King George Road and the Holiday Inn Express in the east end, with The Arlington in nearby Paris. From downtown Hamilton, a chauffeured sedan is a planning $145–175 each way (about 40 km, 30–40 min).
Our page for car service from Brantford hotels has the pickup doors and airport fares for each property. This post is about the reasons people come, and how to plan the stay around them: a night at the casino, a family visit, a university weekend, or a business trip that also touches Hamilton and the airports.

Casino nights at Elements Casino Brantford
Elements Casino Brantford, operated by Great Canadian, is the reason many Hamilton and Burlington visitors come to the city for an evening. The practical question is how to get home after midnight without driving. Three options, with planning sedan fares all-in plus HST:
| Plan | What you book | Planning cost | Best when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Return trip | Hamilton to Brantford, and a pickup at a set time | $290–350 (two one-ways of $145–175) | You know roughly when you will leave |
| Hourly evening | Dinner elsewhere, casino, home | 5 hours: $600–725 | Dinner in Paris or downtown first, or several stops |
| Stay over | A one-way there, a hotel room, a one-way home | $290–350 plus the room | A late night, a group, or a second day |
For the casino alone, the return trip is almost always cheaper than keeping a car; we will say so. Set the pickup time generously. Hotel and venue pickups include 15 minutes of waiting, then 15-minute blocks, so a late leaver pays a little, not a lot. For a comparison with Elements Casino Flamboro near Dundas and the Niagara casinos, see our post on casinos near Hamilton compared and our casino limo page.
Brantford or Flamboro? Choosing a casino from Hamilton
Hamilton residents have two Elements casinos within easy reach. Elements Casino Flamboro, at 967 Highway 5 West near Dundas, is the closer one for most of the city, with a fare in the Flamborough band, a planning $80–105 each way from downtown in a sedan. Elements Casino Brantford is about 40 km and 30 to 40 minutes away, $145–175 each way. Brantford suits a night with a hotel stay, a show at the Sanderson Centre or dinner in Paris; Flamboro suits a quick evening. Both are operated by Great Canadian, and each publishes its own hours and age rules.
A casino-night checklist
- Set the return pickup time 30 minutes later than you think you will leave; waiting after 15 minutes is billed in small blocks.
- Bring government photo ID; casinos check age at the door.
- Agree the meeting point with the chauffeur, usually the main entrance drop-off.
- For a group of six or more, an executive SUV or Sprinter keeps everyone together and splits the fare.
- Book direct; the fare is fixed and does not rise at 2 a.m.
Visiting family in Brantford and Brant County
Families flying in to see relatives in Brantford face the same question: Pearson or Hamilton? From the north-end hotels, Hamilton airport is about 40 km and 30 to 40 minutes, a planning $130–170 in a sedan, while Pearson is about 95 km and 60 to 85 minutes, $315–380. Hamilton airport is roughly half the fare but has fewer routes, and they change by season; check flyhamilton.ca. For grandparents arriving from overseas, Pearson is usually the airport; the chauffeur tracks the flight and waits in the commercial pickup area, with 60 minutes included on international arrivals from actual landing. A name-board meet and greet inside arrivals is an optional $25–35.
University weekends at Laurier Brantford
Wilfrid Laurier University's Brantford campus brings move-in weekends, parents' visits and convocation to the downtown core. Families usually stay two nights in the north-end hotels and need a car for the campus, a grocery run and a dinner. A three-hour hourly booking, a planning $360–435 in a business sedan all-in plus HST, covers a residence drop, a big-box shopping stop and a meal, with the chauffeur waiting and loading at every stop. For the travel-day logistics of a student move, an executive SUV or luxury van (6 passengers, 6 bags) takes the boxes a sedan cannot. Our university and campus visits page has more on campus drop-offs.

Business trips: Brantford, Paris and Hamilton in one day
Brantford's industrial parks and distribution centres draw regular business visitors, and their days often stretch across Brant County and into Hamilton. Our lead product, the hourly private chauffeur, fits that pattern: one car and one chauffeur for at least three hours, business sedan $120–145 an hour, Business SUV $145–175, executive SUV $190–235, first-class sedan $285–350, all-in plus HST, extra time in 30-minute blocks. A worked day different from the parent page's: 8 a.m. pickup at the Holiday Inn Express, a supplier audit in Brantford's east end, a noon meeting in Caledonia, a 3 p.m. site visit in Stoney Creek and a 6 p.m. dinner in downtown Hamilton before the return: roughly 11 hours, $1,320–1,595 in a sedan. The corporate car service page covers accounts.
Shows, hockey and things to see
Visitors with an evening to fill often go to the Sanderson Centre for a touring show or concert; a short ride from a north-end hotel avoids downtown parking. Brantford is Wayne Gretzky's hometown and the city where Alexander Graham Bell's family lived at what is now the Bell Homestead National Historic Site; the city's visitor information is on brantford.ca. Hockey and soccer tournaments fill the Holiday Drive hotels with teams, and a Sprinter carries a team and its bags between the rink and the hotel on an hourly booking, $330–385 an hour. The Six Nations of the Grand River territory lies just southeast of the city.

VIA Rail calls at Brantford on its Toronto to London and Windsor routes; check VIA Rail for current trains. For a solo traveller with light luggage, the train is a sensible budget choice. With a family, bags or a late arrival, a booked car to the hotel door is simpler, because taxis are not always waiting at the station or at either airport late at night, and the hotels on the city's edge are a long walk from anywhere. We track the train on every station pickup. Our post on Brantford to Pearson airport covers departure timing.
Weddings in Brant County
Barns, estates and riverside venues around Brantford and Paris host many weddings, often on country roads with no streetlights. Guests usually stay in the north-end hotels or at The Arlington in Paris. A 14-seat Sprinter loop from the hotel to the ceremony, on to the reception and back late at night keeps everyone safe; a coordinator prices multi-vehicle plans in writing. Stretch limousines and Rolls-Royce cars come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and the quote says so. See our wedding limo page, and the Paris, Ontario community page for pickups there.
Winter on the 403
The stretch of Highway 403 between Brantford and Ancaster crosses open farmland, and in winter blowing snow can reduce visibility quickly. Dispatch adds time to winter airport runs and prefers the executive SUV when the forecast is poor; road conditions are on Ontario 511. The escarpment climb to Hamilton airport can also have snow when Brantford has rain, so a morning YHM departure deserves a 15-minute buffer from December to March.
Kids, bags and mobility needs
Child seats (infant, convertible, booster) are a planning $10–15 each, added at booking. Hockey bags and sticks need an SUV, a van or a Sprinter. Our own fleet has no ramp-equipped wheelchair-accessible vehicles: for passengers who can transfer to a seat, the chauffeur folds and stows a wheelchair or walker, and for ramp vehicles we refer you to a specialist accessible provider.

Nearby hotels and cities
If Brantford is full, Ancaster and Hamilton Mountain hotels are 25 to 35 minutes east, and Kitchener-Waterloo hotels about 50 km north. Community pages for Brantford and Caledonia and Haldimand cover homes and businesses, the Brant County site lists local events, and the hotels hub lists every area.
How to book
Book direct on our own reservation engine: pickup address, the Brantford hotel or casino, the return time, passengers and vehicle. The fixed all-in fare (chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 tolls if used, airport fees, gratuity; HST separate) appears before you confirm. No app, no marketplace commission, one dispatch desk. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup; 10 per cent inside 72 hours, 50 per cent inside 48 and 100 per cent inside 24 hours or for a no-show.
